Arrive at the Mleiha Eye Campsite within Mleiha National Park, where your entry to the Saturn Opposition Event will be confirmed. After check-in, you’ll be welcomed by the astronomy team and introduced to the evening’s schedule. Settle in as the event begins with an overview of the night’s activities and your first look at the desert sky.

Mleiha National Park – Saturn Opposition Event

This single-evening event is timed to coincide with Saturn’s opposition, making the planet especially visible from Earth.

• Guided celestial observations: Astronomy experts will lead you through the night sky, pointing out Saturn, its rings, and other visible celestial objects.

• Informative astronomy presentation: Attend a dedicated session explaining the significance of Saturn’s opposition, what makes this planetary alignment unique, and how to identify features through the telescope.

• Telescope viewing of Saturn and other celestial objects: Use provided telescopes to observe Saturn’s rings and moons up close, as well as other notable objects visible in the night sky.

• Entry to Saturn Opposition Event at Mleiha National Park: Your ticket grants access to all scheduled activities and the designated observation area within the park.
