We appreciated driver Kamal’s kindness and punctuality. The hike to see the waterfall was really nice. You’ll want to wear sneakers, preferably, because the way back down is rocky. We enjoyed the high-quality meal by the river. The lemon chicken tagine was delicious. You only need to pay for the drinks. The visit to the argan cooperative was also enjoyable, featuring a tasting of Moroccan mint green tea. We received explanations about the different oils and their benefits. We recommend this excursion—it offers great value for the price.

    Women's Argan Oil Cooperative

    1. Women's Argan Oil Cooperative

Visit a UNESCO-protected women's cooperative where Berber women produce argan oil using traditional methods. Watch them crack the hard nuts between stones and press the kernels—one liter of oil takes over 20 hours to produce. Your guide explains why quality argan oil varies so widely in price and how the cooperative supports local women's livelihoods. Taste the culinary argan oil before buying—it reveals freshness better than cosmetic testing. Get close-up shots of traditional grinding stones and the extraction process.

The driver was really nice and knowledgeable—he taught us a lot—but the guide didn't explain anything to us; he barely spoke to us at all, except to try to get us to buy a stone (and he wasn't very pleasant)... It took us 15 minutes to hike up to the waterfall, and he didn’t offer to take us to see the second waterfall (we found out later that there was another one). The meal was decent and the staff was friendly. During the meal, some people came to sing in front of us and then persistently begged for money, which wasn’t pleasant. The stops along the way were just places for tourists to shop (argan products, pottery). In short, we were a little disappointed—it wasn’t exactly what I had envisioned for a private tour... However, the tour organizer took our feedback seriously and was very helpful in offering us a solution. We thank him and the driver for their responsiveness and professionalism.

What a stunning place to visit. Our driver was great. Good communication, punctual pick-up. Lunch was taken in an amazing spot, right next to the river. Out guide for the walk up to the waterfalls was helpful. It's a steep walk up lots of steps and loose paths so bear than in mind if that's not for you, but the views are wonderful. So glad that we booked this trip!

We had a wonderful time as a family. Our driver, Mouhssaine, was wonderful at showing us around the region, and our guide, Aziz, was charming. He knows the valley like the back of his hand. I highly recommend it.

The day was perfect, the pickup was very smooth, and the stops along the way were interesting The guide who took us to the waterfalls was super friendly, and at the end he showed us photos of the village covered in snow this winter, as well as a few of the ski resort in the Atlas Mountains. It seemed almost unreal compared to today’s fantastic weather.
