Walking into Meow Wolf’s Omega Mart felt like being a kid again. You know that feeling when you’re 5 years old and everything is new? When you can look at something completely ordinary and still wonder, “What is that? What happens if I open it? Where does this door go? Is there something behind there?” That’s exactly how this place made me feel. Except somehow, it also felt like being 70 years old and seeing something you never imagined you would see in your lifetime. Omega Mart is not just an art exhibit. It feels like walking into another world—one that is completely ridiculous, hilarious, mysterious, and strangely believable all at the same time. At first, you see what looks like a giant grocery store filled with funny and completely bizarre products. Then you start noticing little things. A strange label. A weird advertisement. A door that doesn’t seem like it should be there. A secret passage. A hidden room. And then you realize… Wait. This is bigger than I thought. So you start exploring. You open things. You read things. You follow clues. You find another room, then another passage, and suddenly you’re standing somewhere you didn’t even know existed five minutes ago. That’s what makes Omega Mart so special to me. It rewards curiosity. It doesn’t just tell you, “Here is the art. Look at it.” It says, “Go ahead. Touch things. Look closer. Ask questions. See where this takes you.” And the deeper you go, the more you start discovering the lore behind this strange world. The humor makes you laugh, the artwork makes you stop and stare, and the little details make you feel like you’re uncovering something you’re not supposed to know. My favorite part was how everything felt like it belonged to the same universe. The ridiculous products, the corporate advertisements, the strange characters, the hidden rooms, the artwork, the stories—it all felt connected. For a few hours, I wasn’t just visiting an attraction. I was exploring a world. And that’s probably the best way I can describe Omega Mart: it makes you wonder what it would be like if this place were actually real. It’s the kind of experience that makes a 5-year-old want to run around and discover everything, while making a 70-year-old stop and think, “I’ve lived a long time, and I’ve never seen anything quite like this.” I laughed. I got curious. I got confused. I found things I didn’t expect. And more than once, I caught myself feeling like a little kid again. You don’t really “finish” Omega Mart. You just eventually decide you’ve explored enough… at least for that visit. And honestly, I’m still wondering what I missed.

What an absolutely amazing experience at Meow Wolf’s Omega Mart! From the moment we walked in, we were completely drawn into the storyline. There were so many little details, hidden surprises, and mysteries to uncover. It was such a fun and unique experience! The doctors were definitely one of the highlights of our visit! They were hilarious, engaging, and really brought the whole experience to life. Their commitment to their characters made everything feel even more immersive and memorable. What made our visit extra special was the kindness shown to us as newlyweds. We were given a special gift to celebrate our recent marriage, and it was such a thoughtful and unexpected surprise! It made an already incredible experience even more meaningful and gave us another wonderful memory to add to the beginning of our marriage.

I enjoyed omega mart a lot for how visually stunning and interactive everything was. You could truly spend hours in there. I went alone but I think the activity is best enjoyed as a group experience. If you're sensitive to lights and sounds I would recommend wearing sunglasses and or earplugs. I had to sit down for a bit after but I am very sensitive to lights. The building itself is so cool and you should aim to spend half a day here if you can there is so much cool stuff to see and do!! Highly highly recommend.

Omegamart had some of the best immersive storytelling that I have experienced. Absolutely loved the quirky/cosmic/horrifying descriptions on the items in the grocery section. My only wish is that there was more of it! The gift shop also had very cute designs which I appreciated. Made it easy to get a souvenir that I would actually use! This is definitely worth the price.
