The Aquarium and Science Museum in Valencia are a fantastic choice. You should set aside a whole day—or better yet, two—to experience all the wonders both venues have to offer. At the aquarium, you can see a wide variety of creatures living in all the world’s oceans and their surrounding areas. I saw dolphins, penguins, and beluga whales being fed in their natural habitat, as well as seals and many other creatures up close—closer than I’ve ever seen them at any zoo. The most impressive feature is the tunnels you walk through, with all kinds of fish, turtles, and sharks swimming above your head and all around you. The living conditions and natural habitats of the species on display are very well recreated, and the vegetation is beautiful. The exhibits are breathtaking for both children and adults. The beautiful grounds leading from the aquarium to the technology museum—and the entire Arts and Science City area in general—make a huge impression with their futuristic shapes. The best thing about the science museum is that you can touch many of the exhibits and experience how they work firsthand. I had a blast there like a kid, even though I’m almost 50! I wholeheartedly recommend it!

I went there with my son, and the aquarium absolutely lives up to its reputation. The variety of marine species is impressive, and the architecture of the City of Arts and Sciences that surrounds it is spectacular. The highlight for us was the underwater tunnel with sharks and stingrays. A quick tip for parents: buy tickets online to avoid the long lines at the entrance, and bring some water. It gets very crowded inside, especially in the enclosed pavilions, so be prepared to be patient. Overall, it was a great day of learning and family fun.

I really, really liked it—it took me right back to my childhood watching the animals, and the facility was clean and well-organized. The only thing was that the dolphin show lasted 15 minutes, and half of that was just filler, but the rest was a unique experience. The hands-on exhibits at the museum are pretty worn out, but honestly, the museum is worth it If you want to have a good time, it’s actually pretty nice.

The Oceanographic Museum is wonderful—it’s definitely worth a visit. We thought the Science Museum would have more hands-on experiments or activities to participate in, but it turned out to be more of a traditional museum (lots to read or look at, but not much to experiment with).

Everything is well organized; a few more maps in the oceanography section would be ideal. As for the science museum, it would be a good idea to include information in Italian as well, given the significant number of visitors from Italy. That way, the visit wouldn’t lose its appeal.

Oceanarium i muzeum nauki w Walencji to fantastyczna opcja. Piękne tereny prowadzące z oceanarium do muzeum techniki, ogólnie cały obszar miasteczka sztuki i nauki robi wielkie wrażenie swoimi futurystycznymi ksztsłtami.
