The most impressive parts are: the Oceans area with the shark tunnel, etc. and the Temperate Zones area, which also has a tunnel, culminating in the coral display—truly beautiful to see (if you look at one of my photos, Nemo is there; Dori didn’t make it into the shot, in case anyone’s looking for them). It’s really nice to get a close-up look at the jellyfish area. Things to keep in mind: 1) the crocodiles don’t show themselves until late afternoon in the summer, but they’re worth seeing; 2) the worst time to see the dolphins is at 4:45 p.m., at least in the summer; 3) the bird aviary is visited by only a few people at a time because it’s sort of a guided tour—they explain things to you—and there’s a long line in the afternoons; I recommend going around lunchtime or first thing in the morning. I do wish that, in addition to the general map, there were a small guide to help visitors navigate the Oceanogràfic, with brief explanations of the different areas. I’m not going to deduct points for this, because honestly, what’s here and what they do here is impressive, but IT WOULD BE NICE TO HAVE ONE. At the Science Museum, the highlight for the general public is the area dedicated to Mars on the third floor, along with all the interactive exhibits about the human body. For those with a special interest, on the second floor, the exhibits dedicated to scientists (Severo Ochoa, Ramón y Cajal, etc.) are worth seeing; there’s a lot of material there that requires some time to explore. And, of course, the dance and memory areas—among others—on the first floor are a lot of fun. For anyone looking for the restrooms at the museum, they’re a bit hidden and not very well marked; they’re in the center of the third floor. You can’t see them because you have to go down a set of stairs (one for each gender) that lead directly to them. For those with older cars who want to avoid Valencia’s low-emission zone: if you’re coming from the south, you won’t have any trouble because you’ll enter directly without passing through it; if you’re coming from the north via the AP7 or A7, you’ll need to skirt the city on the V30—which you can access from these highways—and then switch from the V30 to the V15, which takes you straight there. On the way back, it’s the same route but in reverse. Be careful when leaving the parking lot, because if you drive in the wrong direction and aren’t paying attention, you’ll end up in the low-emission zone.

My visit to the Oceanogràfic in Valencia was an exceptional experience. As soon as I arrived, I was impressed by the size of the facility and the beauty of its architecture. It’s a very well-maintained place, pleasant to visit, and perfect for a family outing. I particularly enjoyed the diversity of marine animals on display. The aquariums are magnificent and allow visitors to observe numerous species in very well-recreated environments. The underwater tunnel is also impressive, as it really feels like you’re immersed among the fish and other animals. The visit is also very educational. The various exhibits help visitors better understand the oceans, marine animals, and the importance of protecting the environment. The shows and areas dedicated to dolphins also make the visit even more enjoyable. Even though the site is quite large and you’ll need to set aside several hours to fully enjoy it, it’s well worth the time. The organization is good, and the facilities are top-notch. I highly recommend the Oceanogràfic in Valencia to anyone who loves animals, nature, and family activities. It’s a wonderful experience that I would gladly repeat.

It was a fantastic experience! The Oceanographic is clearly the most beautiful and comprehensive aquarium I’ve ever seen; the fish and all the other animals there are healthy, and their habitats closely reflect the ideal conditions for their well-being.The dolphin show was incredible; the dedication and hard work of all the staff really shine through in even the smallest details. I’m glad I spent four hours of my day at this facility and had the chance to see different species and animals that I otherwise wouldn’t have been able to see. In addition, the natural science museum also offered great activities for both adults and children, and I found the idea of being able to interact with the exhibits inside the museum very interesting. I give it a 10!!

My 10-year-old daughter Giada and I visited both the Oceanográfico and the Science Museum on July 29. We had a wonderful time at the Oceanographic. It was a very hot day, and we cooled off at the various misting stations. The park is very clean and well-organized. We really liked the tunnel where we could admire various species of fish swimming above our heads. I would have liked to spend a few more hours at the Science Museum as well; my daughter had a blast. Unfortunately, we didn’t have much time since we had to be back on the ship by 3:00 p.m. It’ll be an excuse to come back and visit both the Oceanográfico and the Science Museum with the whole family. Thanks for everything. See you soon

A truly spectacular experience in Valencia! The Oceanogràfic is an incredible place, with so many marine species, well-maintained habitats, and breathtaking scenery—plus, all the animals are treated very well and are in excellent condition. Plus, the dolphin show is a great way to learn everything there is to know about this species in a fun and easy way. The Science Museum is fantastic too: modern, interactive, and full of interesting hands-on activities. A perfect day out for families, kids, and adults alike. Highly recommended!

The area is already impressive thanks to the facilities that surround and are part of the complex where the Oceanografic is located. With no wait to get in, the tour is wonderful and appeals to both adults and children. There are several dining options, and the dolphin show is a must-see—I recommend saving it for last so you can take the opportunity to rest a bit. Parking is very convenient and affordable if you have an admission ticket (€8 for the whole day).

A truly unforgettable experience! The Oceanogràfic in Valencia is a wonderful place, with attention to every detail, that delights visitors of all ages. Every area is fascinating and allows you to admire countless marine species up close in spectacular settings. The highlight of the visit was undoubtedly the dolphin show: engaging, exciting, and exceptionally well-organized. Witnessing the dolphins’ intelligence, agility, and the special bond between them and their trainers was a truly unique experience that will remain among the fondest memories of my trip. I highly recommend a visit to anyone passing through Valencia. It’s an experience that’s absolutely worth the price of admission!

A very interesting and interactive science museum—you can easily spend a full two hours there. The oceanographic museum is fantastic; it’s always very crowded, but it’s well worth it. The dolphin show is included in the price; it lasts about a quarter of an hour, but if you have time, it’s a nice bonus—it has set show times.
