I was with the family and we visited the oceanographic and the Science Museum. We went in shortly after opening and were fine until after lunch when most people came in. We noticed the competence and thoroughness of the people and the place. We really enjoyed the dolphin show and saw how they take care and attention of them. The Oceanographic is highly recommended for young and old, the Science Museum for us was not much , especially because for example the part dedicated to Florence and Leonardo (we are from Tuscany -Empoli-Vinci )we see them live. The rest was not of great interest and in less than an hour we were out, while the Oceanographic takes you almost the whole day. A great big thrill.

Very easy to get tickets online. The oceanographic is truly remarkable, and the science museum is interesting and fun for young and old alike. On the other hand, there is parking for vehicles at €7 per day, but the procedure is not easy. It's not possible to scan the QR code of the entrance (oceanographic or other, or combo ticket) in front of the pay station and get the discount. You have to make an exchange at the cash desk to obtain a ticket that will be inserted into the automatic cashier (if I've understood everything), except that in this case you have to queue as if you didn't have a ticket. An online ticket saves time....

The oceanographic was really a great experience, we spent the day inside and visited and toured all the different areas. There are so many species and in my opinion if you like aquariums this one is not to be missed. We also stopped to see the show with the dolphins and were amazed by their intelligence and gentleness. Also beautiful are the shark specimens and so many varieties of fish. Finally there are also other beautiful animals such as seals , sea lions, turtles and crocodiles!

The visit to the aquarium was pleasant: the facility is impressive and houses numerous marine species in well-maintained scenic settings. However, some areas are crowded, and access to the underwater tunnels or dolphin shows involves long waits. The ticket price is high compared to the actual visiting time unless you leave early in the morning. In summary: It is worth going if you are interested in the marine world, but expectations and cost should be dosed.
