Het was erg handig om deze tickets te hebben. Het claimen van de Skyliner-tickets was gemakkelijk, beide keren -- op het vliegveld en het Ueno (stads)station om terug te gaan. Het 72-uurs onbeperkte ticket echter--OMG, wat een lange en vermoeiende weg om het te krijgen/"claimen" op station Shibuya. Misschien was het makkelijker geweest als ik van of naar een kleiner station was gegaan. Dan op de Skyliner, ja, het is leuk, snel, goede prijs (en nog beter als je hier koopt op Headout, wanneer het is afgeprijsd), maar de intervaltijd was vrij lang, dus als je timing niet goed is, wacht je echt lang op je rit. Ondertussen is de 72-uurs onbeperkte metrorit alleen echt de moeite waard als je veel reist. Maar als je in een hotel verblijft dat centraal gelegen is en in de buurt blijft en rondloopt, dan kun je het ticket niet veel gebruiken en was het naast de kosten niet zo de moeite waard om het te claimen. Het is mijn eigen schuld dat ik niet genoeg onderzoek heb gedaan of beslissingen heb genomen over wat ik wilde doen voordat ik besloot het te kopen. Voor de rest maakte deze aankoop het reizen in Tokio gemakkelijk (het hebben van een onbeperkte kaart bespaart zeker tijd ten opzichte van het kopen van elke reis - tenzij je die Suica/IC-kaart hebt, die ik bleek te hebben van mijn reis in 2014 en die nog steeds werkte) en het hielp om wat geld te besparen.
