What to expect

Vietnamese Bamboo Circus

This contemporary circus performance uses bamboo, movement, and music to portray Vietnamese rural culture and local heritage. The storytelling is wordless, so you follow the narrative through physical theatre, live sound, and visual design rather than spoken dialogue.

Features

• Your ticket includes admission to Vietnamese Bamboo Circus with access to the economy seating section, standard seating section, or premium seating section depending on your booking, for an immersive view of the performers and every detail of the action.
• The show focuses on Vietnamese rural culture and local heritage, so you observe scenes inspired by daily life, customs, and community spirit in traditional villages in Northern Vietnam. Through these moments, the performance highlights the close relationship between local communities, nature, and long-standing ways of life.
• Bamboo acrobatics and circus techniques are at the core of the staging, with performers using bamboo to create balancing acts, dynamic group sequences, and inventive movement patterns. The creative bamboo-based stage design turns poles and frames into shifting structures and props that change the space in front of you.
• Live traditional Vietnamese folk music accompanies the entire performance, featuring the distinctive sounds of Vietnamese folk instruments played on stage. This live score supports wordless storytelling, guiding your attention and emotions through each scene without the need for spoken language.
