it was an incredible way to be able to see such a wide variety of animals up close that i would never have otherwise been able to see. not only that, but we got to feed the animals and interact with them up close, such as the zebras and giraffes! the overall layout of the safari park was also very easy to navigate helps if to ensure we were able to see everything we wanted to, like the different wild animals, in a short space of time! overall, fantastic value for money and will definitely be recommending this experience to friends back home!

If you're wondering where to take your kids to see animals while traveling in Chiang Mai, I highly recommend the Night Safari!!! All the animals were lively, and the park is divided into different themes, making it a real treat to explore. The animal shows are also top-notch. I plan to go again the next time I visit Chiang Mai. HEADOUT offers cheap tickets for the Night Safari, so be sure to use them~

Yes animals are in captivity but the evening was excellent. The animals look healthy and loved. The park was extremely well organised. We arrived late around 7:30 pm and managed to complete al the shows and the two safari rides. Going early would have been better to expose further on foot. But this was 5 stars for sure. Thank you

I honestly didn’t expect to enjoy Chiang Mai Night Safari this much, but it turned out to be one of the most fun evenings of my trip. The park is really big, and the highlight for me was definitely the tram safari. The tram takes you through different sections where animals like giraffes, zebras, and deer roam around in large areas. It’s a really nice way to see them up close without disturbing them, and the guide also shares some interesting facts about the animals during the ride. There are also a few shows happening through the evening which are quite entertaining, especially if you’re visiting with family or kids. The whole place feels very lively at night, which makes the experience quite different from visiting a regular zoo during the day. Another thing I liked was that there are plenty of food options and places to sit inside the park, so you can easily spend a few hours there without feeling rushed. Overall, I’d say it’s a really fun evening activity in Chiang Mai and definitely worth checking out if you’re visiting the city. 😊

  • Thailand’s best night safari

Modeled after the Night Safari in Singapore, the night safari at Chiang Mai is something worth spending those bucks on. Climb aboard the 50-seater night tram, which takes you on the 2.4 kilometer-long trail filled with animals coming out of the shadows. You first stop at the Savannah Trail Zone, where you get to see giraffes and zebras eating food. Then, you move on to the Predator Prowl Zone, home to the world’s most dangerous predators like the spotted hyena, white tigers, and lions, among others.

A meet with the wild cats

Visit the Jaguar Trail, a 1.2 kilometer trail that surrounds the beautiful Swan Lake. Meet some of the rarest animals on the planet like the clouded leopards, capybaras, and fire tigers on your stroll around the lake. Last, but not least, catch the musical fountain show, a multimedia show featuring a 12-meter high and 20-meter wide water screen that changes color and moves according to music.
