We very much liked the boat ride to the falls. It was an incredible experience with the water in the air and the turbulences of the falling water. The raincoat provided is a good protection against the water. Of course, the shoes get wet which can be accepted. However, the guided tour before was not so well organized. Because of the background noise of the falls the guy was difficult to understand and because of the large group he could not get through to everyone. For such problems one can imagine better solutions.

I thought Darrel did a great job of managing such a diverse group. The falls speak for themselves. If I could add something to address. In the beginning, we're all standing around for at least 30 mins. Peter likes to engage with each person during check-in. But it would be better to move the line along faster and maybe get the tour started with those there sooner rather than waiting. Anyone late or has last-minute sign-ups can be brought in a second group. But Peter needs to move faster.

Was on the Maid of the Mist 35+ yeears ago. The new electric powered boats got soooo much closer to the Horseshoe Falls! It was so exciting and breathtaking! Definitely an experience to remember. The picture was taken with a plastic bag over my phone. Not so great but maybe you get the idea! Our tour guide, Jacob, was a lot of fun. Found out a lot of information about the falls and the history behind them. A big shout out to Jacob!!!!!

    Our tour guide Paul was friendly and had tons of fun facts about the falls and surrounding area. As for the boat ride ... the Maid of the Mist was an amazing time!! The boat gets so close to the falls and offers a spectacular 360 view of the the area. You for sure get a bit more than a "mist" on the ride, but it's so worth it!!

    We had the ultimate Niagara Park tour guide — knowledgeable enough to teach a masterclass, kind enough to lend you an umbrella, and funny enough to make you forget you’re wearing a giant blue garbage bag (a.k.a. the Maid of the Mist poncho). He made the history exciting, the walk easy, and the boat ride unforgettable. 10/10 would get soaked again.

    • This experience is pram/stroller accessible. You will have to leave the strollers in the designated stroller parking area before boarding the boat.

    • Your guide dogs are welcome at the venue.

    • The Maid of the Mist boat ride is not operational during winter months and will be replaced by the Cave of the Winds experience.

    • This tour takes place entirely on the US side and does not include crossing the bridge into Canada.
