    Mobile tickets are accepted for the Ngong Ping 360 Cable Car and the Lantau Cultural and Heritage Insight Tour. You can present your e-ticket at the Tung Chung or Ngong Ping Cable Car Terminal for redemption and begin your journey to Ngong Ping —no need to print.

    What to expect:

    Begin with a 25-minute cable car ride from Tung Chung to Ngong Ping, gliding over Tung Chung Bay, the South China Sea, and Lantau’s green slopes with Tian Tan Buddha in view. Travel to Tai O fishing village, where you’ll board a boat to cruise through narrow waterways lined with stilt houses. Step inside one of these homes to learn about the lives of the Tanka people. Later, explore Po Lin Monastery, including the Grand Hall of Ten Thousand Buddhas and the towering Tian Tan Buddha. End your tour with a stroll through the quaint Ngong Ping Village.

    Ngong Ping Cable Car:

    • This experience is wheelchair and pram/stroller accessible.

    • Disabled guests can approach the Guest Services Operator for assistance after arriving at the cable car terminal.

    • Disability-friendly washrooms are available at both the Tung Chung and Ngong Ping cable car terminals.

    • Your guide dogs are welcome in the cable car.

    Lantau Island:

    • This experience is wheelchair and pram/stroller accessible.

    • Your guide dogs are welcome to Lantau Island

    • Certain hiking trails may not be wheelchair accessible due to uneven terrain.

    Additional information

    Ngong Ping Cable Car:

    • Cable car services can be suspended in case of heavy rains or thunderstorms. Tickets can be exchanged, or guests can avail a refund at the cable car terminals.

    • If cable car services are suspended, the guided tour will also be canceled.

    • Children under the age of 12 years must be accompanied by a person aged 15 or above on the cable car.

    Lantau Island:

    • If cable car services are suspended, the guided tour will also be canceled.

    • Should the Tai O Boat Excursion service be unavailable, the guest will receive a HK $20 cash voucher that can be used at the Ngong Ping 360 Souvenir Shop.

    • Respect local customs at the cultural sites, while not a strict dress code, it is recommended that you dress modestly when visiting the Monastery and other sites.

    • Your voucher will be emailed to you shortly.

    • Display the voucher on your mobile phone with a valid photo ID at the starting point.
