Headout partners with QPAC for the Australian debut of Sting’s The Last Ship

Headout, home to the world’s best real-life experiences, is the global distribution partner of Queensland Performing Arts Centre (QPAC) for its Australian-exclusive season of Sting’s The Last Ship.

With a deeply personal score from 17-time Grammy Award winner Sting, The Last Ship is inspired by his upbringing in the shipyards of Wallsend. The musical is a poignant story about identity, resilience, and the ties that bind communities together. Following performances in Amsterdam and Paris, this Australian exclusive will be staged in QPAC’s newly opened Glasshouse Theatre — a landmark cultural moment for Brisbane and Queensland.

Audiences across Australia and the Asia-Pacific have the rare chance to experience Sting’s celebrated work live, featuring Sting himself in the role of Jackie White in each performance. In partnership with QPAC, Headout will spotlight The Last Ship to inbound travellers, further cementing Brisbane’s reputation as a premier cultural destination. Through Headout’s global platform, this exclusive production will also be accessible to audiences around the world.
