The full hiking route is available as part of every option, and if you select Huanglong Entry Only (Hiking Route, No Cable Car) you will complete this 5–7 hour trail entirely on foot without a cable car. This suits guests who are comfortable with a longer walk at altitude and prefer a continuous hike through the valley.

Huanglong National Park is famous for its vivid travertine pools, and as you follow the route you will see terraces filled with brightly colored water formed by mineral-rich deposits. One of the key highlights is the Five-Colour Pond, where the water appears in distinct bands of color that change with light and season.

With the Huanglong Entry Ticket + Cable Car Up option, a cable car up ride is included to help you save energy in the thinner air at 3,558 meters. You ride the cable car up first, then connect to the hiking paths so you can focus on exploring the travertine pools with reduced physical exertion.

Choosing the Huanglong Entry Ticket + Cable Car Up + Golf Cart option adds both a cable car up ride and a golf cart ride to your day. This combination is designed to reduce walking distances on steeper or longer sections of the route so that more visitors can comfortably experience the high-altitude scenery and reach viewpoints near the Five-Colour Pond.

Every ticket includes entry to Huanglong scenic area, with route access depending on the option selected. The optional cable car up ride and golf cart ride are structured to match different physical conditions, so you can decide how much you want to walk at this altitude.

Your experience is self-guided, and no guide is included, which gives you flexibility to pause for photos at viewpoints overlooking the travertine pools. Pre-booked entry removes the need to arrange tickets on site, letting you focus on managing your pace and hydration along the route.
