Headout made the ticket process easy. Just scan the QR codes and you can skip the people who didn't get the tickets already. The museum itself was cool, though you get a little bored after the 300th vase in a row. However, my main issue was that the audio guide that was booked with it had absolutely nothing to do with the museum. You can, however, using the same app, go to the Museum tour and enter in words after the word "KEY" like "KEYMUSEUM" or "KEYNATIONAL" and then get the tour that way. Even then, the audio guide's text to speech voice is insanely annoying, so I preferred just reading the bios.

Full of culture and an amazing atmosphere. Walking along the alleys and reading about what used to be there, I felt as if I were back in those times. A theater that was bustling with cultural life. Religion that helped people gain strength for everyday life. And the view of Athens from the Acropolis is something incredible. I highly recommend visiting in the spring, of course, when there is a light breeze and sunshine.

Simply fantastic! The Acropolis tour was simply fantastic. We were there in mid-January and the tourist crowds were manageable. Be sure to visit the Acropolis Museum afterwards. Only then is it a complete experience. Booking and service via Headout were reliable and perfect!

Truly memorable experience taking my retired architect father to visit the Acropolis Parthenon for his 80th birthday. A dream come true for him. Went earlier in the day to avoid the crowds. Due to Greek Orthodox Good Friday observances, archaeological sites will have adjusted opening hours. Specifically, on Good Friday (3rd May 2024), sites will be open from noon until 6:00 pm. Orthodox Holy Saturday (4th May 2024) hours will be from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm.

The Acropolis Museum offers free admission on March 6 (Melina Mercouri Day), March 25 (National Holiday), May 18 (International Day of Museums), and October 28 (National Holiday).
