Went with my girlfriend and we got there early—def pays off. Hardly any crowds at 9am, and the light made the Lion Gate look LEGENDARY. Museum was a bit packed later but worth squeezing through, so many gold bits and old pottery. Our guide was so into it, told these wild stories about Agamemnon (hope I spelled that right lol). The ruins are more spread out than I thought, wear real shoes cause wow, that gravel is sneaky. We thought about skipping the tombs but glad we didn’t—the Treasury of Atreus was sooo coool, echo-y inside. Take water, lots of steps if ur not into climbing. Would totally come back if I had more time.

Went solo, got the ticket at the door (cheaper than online, heads up). Super HOT in September. Walked up to the old palace—so much history here, I kept imagining the place full of people ages ago. Kinda crowded but not unbearable. Museum is airconditioned, so that's a bonus. Staff were chill, answered my questions about the gold mask.

I liked the site a lot, but there’s not much info signs in English outside, so I’d recommend a guide or audio. The ruins are well kept and the Lion Gate is just iconic, everyone stops for photos. Bit too many tour groups in the morning but by 1pm it got quiet. Water fountains not working when we went, so bring your own.

We visited as a family with two teens and everyone loved it, even my daughter who’s usually bored by ruins. The tombs felt straight out of a movie, especially the beehive one—my son tried to sing inside cause the echo is wild. The museum was a nice break from the sun. Bring snacks, cafe was closed when we went (boo).

Such a cool place for history nerds. The views from the top are super pretty, you see hills all around. Museum felt a little crowded but the gold stuff is wow. Walked around for 2 hours, would’ve stayed longer if it wasn’t so hot. Guide was friendly, joked about the old kings and their big egos.
