From the first note, Les Misérables runs through you. Without asking permission it conquers you with songs of a beauty that leads to tears. I can share that, at a certain point, my inner child was screaming "yes, yes, yes!", from so much commotion. In front of your eyes there is a cast with voices of rapturous intensity, there are dazzling child performers, a stage of prodigious versatility and live music that enhances it all. Warning: you will leave excited... and humming. Don't say I didn't warn you 😉

The show is a marvel. The theater itself has a visibility problem in the last rows of the stalls. If you have a large person in front of you, as was my case, it is impossible to see properly. I spent 2 hours 50 lying to one side or the other looking for the gap to try to see the whole stage. When you pay 90€ for a ticket I expect that, at least, visibility is assured. In that sense it was a disappointment

There is no doubt that everything that is done in my beloved Españita is more than fantastic! A play that touches the heart, that makes you cry, reflect and be grateful for your own life and have empathy for others in today's complicated world. Excellent actors/actresses, scenery and music. It only remains to say... thank you for this space in our lives.

    The story

In post-revolutionary France, Jean Valjean is granted freedom after years in prison, but the past won’t let him go. Hunted by the unrelenting Inspector Javert, Valjean finds purpose in raising Cosette, the daughter of a woman crushed by poverty. As civil unrest rises and rebellion brews, fate weaves Valjean’s journey with others who dare to dream. But will hope be enough?

Incredible, the voices were great and the performances too, especially Javert. I was surprised that it was going to be translated and the translation was excellent. The only thing I would have liked is to be closer because I think I was in the third last row and I was very far away, I could see blurred facial expressions JAJAJ but the rest was phenomenal.
