Museum of Living Butterflies

Located on Grodzka 48 between Wawel Castle and the Main Market Square in Krakow's Old Town, this is Poland's first Museum of Living Butterflies. Inside, a controlled tropical microclimate supports hundreds of butterflies and other small animals that share the space with visitors.

  Step into the tropical exhibit with free-flying butterflies and observe hundreds of species from Asia, Africa, South America, and Europe moving all around you. The indoor environment is designed as a tropical microclimate so you can watch their behavior, colors, and flight patterns from very close range.

  Within the enclosure, you encounter free-roaming bunnies and vibrant birds in the same shared space. These interactive animal encounters let you observe how the bunnies and birds move, rest, and interact with the surroundings as you walk through.

  Your entry to the Museum of Living Butterflies gives you full access to all public areas of the exhibit under the Standard Entry Tickets option. This admission covers the tropical exhibit with free-flying butterflies as well as the zones where free-roaming bunnies and birds can be observed.

  With an unlimited stay and a self-guided visit inside, you are free to spend as long as you like in the museum. You can move between sections, focus on favorite species, or take extra time for photography without any time pressure.
