The performances were amazing. The musicians talked a little about each piece before playing it, creating a background story for each piece. There was a ten minute break in the middle of the concert to be able to buy drinks. The venue was very small and intimate, as if you are having a concert at your own home. It was an amazing experience. Thank you!

If I could have bottées up this performance , and taken it home with me , i would have . The three musicians were out of this world awesome . They were very aopealinh to the audience , especially by using their personally anecdotes about why THEY live the music they play . Such a bond between them

They recommend arriving an hour early, even though it’s not necessary. No tour of the Mozarthaus—we were told outright that it wasn’t open to visitors. Big disappointment. As for the premium ticket? What’s the point of it? Given the size of the room?!? There are 5 or 6 rows. Nothing to say about the concert—it was magnificent!!! With this small venue offering impeccable acoustics, kudos to these four musicians.

The Magic Flute, etc... and nobody from your company to exchange the tickets on-site... they let us through anyway, but really not very professional... Same thing for the Belvedere... nobody shows up on-site... Headout. Disappointing and does not keep its commitments!!!

After a brief check-in, you’ll be free to explore the museum’s three exhibition floors at your own pace before heading to the nearby Sala Terrena for your concert performance.

What to bring

Carry a light jacket or shawl. The Sala Terrena is a historic hall, and temperatures can feel cool in the evening, especially between September and February.

Keep a small notebook or use your phone or recorder to note interesting details or insights from the exhibition.

What’s not allowed

Check large bags, suitcases, or bulky items at the cloakroom before entering. Only small handbags or daypacks may be brought inside.

Flash photography is strictly prohibited throughout the museum and the concert hall.

Tripods, selfie sticks, and professional recording devices are not permitted.

Food and drinks are not allowed in either the exhibition rooms or the concert area. Any snacks or bottled water should be left with the reception or stored outside.

During the concert, silence your mobile phones and refrain from filming or recording the musicians.

Accessibility

The Mozarthaus Museum is fully wheelchair accessible, with a ramped entrance, wide doors, and an elevator connecting all public floors.

A wheelchair-accessible restroom is available on the basement level.

Service animals are welcome in all museum spaces.

The Sala Terrena is located within the same complex and can be accessed via a few steps. Inform the staff in advance if you require assistance so they can help you with entry and seating arrangements.

Arrive at least an hour before the concert to visit the museum, collect your tickets, and settle in comfortably.

For a more relaxed visit, plan your museum tour between Tuesday and Thursday mornings, when it’s quieter. Mondays, weekends, and late afternoons tend to attract school groups and tour buses.

Most guests start on the first floor, but we recommend beginning your visit on the third floor with the themed exhibits and working your way down to the second-floor Mozart apartment to avoid crowding near the original rooms.
