The place was just mesmerising, it was my first time in Lisbon and my first time in the Monastery. It was an incredible experience. The building itself is breathtaking, but I also liked how I got handled at the entrance - the person letting me in and out was nice and polite. There also wasn't much queuing. Directions inside the Monastery were clear, toilets were kept clean, the place looked well taken care of. I visited the Monastery at the end of November, so it was obvious to me that it wasn't gonna be very crowded, but it was a nice surprise still. I suggest that people who would like to properly enjoy the place without raging crowds choose "off-season" sightseeing in the Monastery. Overall, I'd rate my visit 5/5 stars.

Sao Jorge Castle is a beautiful spot high above the city of Lisbon. You can climb the ancient crenellated walls, which frame 360 degrees of wide and lovely views. There is a musem with relics from the original Arab city of the middle ages through the city's Roman and Christian eras. The castle is surrounded by shaded gardens where peacocks wander among the olive trees and stone benches and the ships pass far below beyond the colored rooftops.

Thanks to the fact that we bought our tickets online, we were able to get in faster. Because all the time there is a long line. But when you are inside it is a marvel what your eyes see and everything is worth the wait. The security people outside some of them are very nice but the women are very rude and don't give you the information you need, they just tell you to wait in line without paying attention to what you say.

The Jerónimos Monastery is one of the most impressive landmarks in Lisbon and definitely worth the ticket. The moment you walk in, you’re surrounded by stunning Manueline architecture — intricate stone carvings, cloisters bathed in sunlight, and details everywhere you look. The cloister is the highlight; peaceful, beautifully preserved, and perfect for photos.

It is worth the visit, the cloister is one of the most spectacular I've seen and very well preserved. The facade is under construction so we will have to return to appreciate the monastery in all its splendor.
