"The Palace of Pena: A Romantic Dream in the Heart of Sintra." The Palace of Pena in Sintra is an explosion of color and architecture, a true gem set among lush hills. Its eclectic blend of styles, ranging from neo-Gothic to neo-Renaissance, creates a fairy-tale, almost surreal atmosphere. The vibrant hues of its facades stand out beautifully against the deep green of the surrounding parkland, offering breathtaking views from every angle. It is a place that captures the imagination and transports the visitor to a time of romance and extravagance. Absolutely not to be missed for its uniqueness and astonishing beauty. Beautiful experience I highly recommend it, wonderful.

The truth is that with the purchased tickets we arrived and we did not have to queue, we went directly. In that sense everything was very comfortable and good. What upset us and delayed us the most was the access with the car which is something that I have not read anywhere. On the internet it said that there was parking near the monuments but the reality is that when I went there was a huge queue of cars and we arrived at the first monument 45 minutes later. They let us pass without any problem when we explained the situation but the truth is that it is something that makes us angry and spoils the day because if we had been told beforehand we could have gone with more time in advance.

All round amazing experience! I must admit I was sceptical about not buying tickets through the official palace website - but we had no issues what so ever! We were even 30mins late due to a public transport delay. They were very accommodating and it was no drama at all! I had read prior that the inside of the palace wasn't worth visiting but I completely disagree, we are on the final leg of our 6week Europe trip and have been inside many many castles, we agree that this was the best one so far! Both inside and out and we are glad we did both the park and the palace! 100% will be booking with headout again. Cannot recommend enough.

The visit was assolutely amazing, worth waiting in a line for a while. Buying the entrance at 9:30 was the perfect choiche, allowing us also a smooth entrance to the church afterwards.

The visit to the monastery was great, well worth it! A visit full of history, followed by the pastéis de Belém, as the store is right next door!

Although the line scared us at first, it didn't take more than 15 min to get in. It is ,however, a bit strange that on the way out you have to queue again to get into the church. Anyway, the organization is good and a "brisk" flow of visitors is maintained.

The architecture of the building is really impressive. Although there were a lot of tourists, you didn't get the feeling that it was overcrowded and you could enjoy the atmosphere.

The palce is so beautiful and worth to visit. However, it should be organized better. We had to wait in a very long line under the hot sun.
