It was a great experience. The commentator was really knowledgeable about the area and was at time very funny. He kept everyone engaged during the trip. We were lucky to strike a nice stunning weather, were able to see the rare penguin, and seals. Unfortunately we were not able to spot any dolphins on the day. Also the on board the catering had excellent choice of fast food, with free tea or coffee. I would suggest everyone who visits Milford sound, should take this trip.

Great day on the cruise , good English commentary of the sound formation and history of discovery. Seeing the penguin s leaving the nesting area and seals lazing in the sun in the rocks just made the day . The drive into Milford Sound is also spectacular in scenery with Keas at several of the stops keeping tourists entertained Would recommend to anyone interested in the great outdoors

I'm waiting for the fully refund from 27th September 2026, the trip at 10 am was cancelled. And the Milford Sound team said we will get refund within 5-7 business days. Still waiting.

The experience was a natural wonderland of all elements on a large scale. The peaks, the waterfalls, the steady flow along the water and the sun was in full beam. Blessed with the days weather. Nature really put on a show for us. And the crew at Pure Milford were fabulous from the customer service desk to the on board navigation and commentary. We felt safe and well looked after. All friendly, welcoming and their knowledge was excellent. A fabulous trip. Highly recommend Purw Milford cruises to experience this trip. Thank you so much.

The whole experience was just sureal! Right from the moment we left the dock to when we arrived back it was an excellent experience! The catain kept us well informed via commentry of all the interesting points to look at, pointed out local wildlife, e.g.penguins etc. We would love to share this experience again with someone who has never done Milford Sound.

An Amazing trip with Pure Milford - the booking with headout, checkin at the venue and the entire expeience was very good. The icing on the cake was a bright and sunny day with excellent weather and in company of a few dolphins, unfortunately we did not get to sight the seals or the penguins. You can not grasp the grandness of these fjords until you are flying right next tii on the peaks ! Then to land at sea level to take a cruise on the Milford Sound and experience pure awe at the sighting of dolphins and a whale!!
