The experience was a natural wonderland of all elements on a large scale. The peaks, the waterfalls, the steady flow along the water and the sun was in full beam. Blessed with the days weather. Nature really put on a show for us. And the crew at Pure Milford were fabulous from the customer service desk to the on board navigation and commentary. We felt safe and well looked after. All friendly, welcoming and their knowledge was excellent. A fabulous trip. Highly recommend Purw Milford cruises to experience this trip. Thank you so much.

The whole experience was just sureal! Right from the moment we left the dock to when we arrived back it was an excellent experience! The catain kept us well informed via commentry of all the interesting points to look at, pointed out local wildlife, e.g.penguins etc. We would love to share this experience again with someone who has never done Milford Sound.

You can not grasp the grandness of these fjords until you are flying right next tii on the peaks ! Then to land at sea level to take a cruise on the Milford Sound and experience pure awe at the sighting of dolphins and a whale!!

The cruise was exceptional, and the crew on board was very welcoming and cheerful. They really made sure we enjoyed every moment of the 2-hour cruise. If I can offer one piece of advice, do this in the winter! After the tour, we stopped by the really nice souvenir shop😌... And as we were leaving Milford, we were surprised by the snow🥰... It’s the most beautiful place I’ve ever seen in my life! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT

We went on the cruise during a heavy rain storm. Counterintuitively, these were the perfect weather conditions. Due to the rain, the waterfalls were nothing short of spectacular. Our lunch included enough for two meals, so several items ended up in our snack bag for the remainder of our three-week trip. My only regret is having to take photographs through the window since the wind was whipping rain onto the deck. Of course, the closer we cruised to the Tasman Sea, the higher the wind gusts. (Yes, Virginia, sometimes water falls horizontally!) On our drive in from Queenstown, the mountainsides were relatively dry as we descended to the sound. On the way out, most of the mountainsides were decorated with cataracts of cascading water. Beautiful! Sorry for the relative greyness of the photos. It was that misty.
