Our pilot Jerod was great. We enjoyed flying over the beautiful mountains and sound. We signed up late but was told on the website that hotel pickup was included. When we paid we were told we had to meet at the office on shotovet. Not a long walk but not what was promised.

The Milford Sound Cruise was incredibly beautiful. Despite the bad weather, it was a very impressive experience. You could see an enormous number of waterfalls and it was well explained which mountain or waterfall you could see. The option to go on deck was also excellent despite the rain. I really enjoyed it and can only recommend it to anyone! My highlight was that they also got really close to the big waterfalls so that you could really see the spray from the bubbling water and really appreciate the size of the waterfall.

We choose to take the tour bus from Te Anau instead of driving to Milford ourselves and it was the right thing to do. The bus had a glass roof and was neccessary to be able to see the extremely steep mountainsides and gorges with waterfalls everywhere. The cruise itself was so much fun and the crew was in top form and hospitality professionals.
