The tour was definitely one of the highlights of our stay in Ireland. Fascinating history beginning with the purchase of the buildings by the Murphy brothers in 1839 through to the continuing operations of the distillery at his same site today. We learned a lot about the process of making and aging the whiskey and even ended with tasting of three of the current whiskeys made right there in the "new" distillery. My wife and I chose the 4:00pm tour, which seemed appropriate with tasting at around d 5:00pm (no day drinking here!). Charming tourguide and wonderful historic and well maintained Ed and preserved facilities. Highly recommend this experience.
