CoupleVerified booking3 weeks ago5/5We left Zermatt in heavy fog, hoping we would break through to sunshine as we rose higher. The air was thick and it felt a little creepy that we could not see anything until we were upon it. The fog dissipated some by the time we reached the first station. We moved into the giant gondola that would take us to the top. The coach was fairly full of hopeful riders. As we neared the top we broke through the fog to see the Matterhorn shining through the mist. The whole coach cheered!MMark F
CoupleVerified booking2 weeks ago5/5I like that Headout included in the directions link the bus information to get to the right gondola. The picking up of the tickets was easy too. The view from the top was spectacular. We got off on the way down to take the Matterhorn Glacier trail which made for a spectacular day.AAlyssa M

CoupleVerified booking6 days ago5/5Amazing views from the top. The tram was very interesting as we had never been on anything quite like it.CCarron K
CoupleVerified bookingAug 20265/5We went early, queued before it opened & had the best views without the crowds - absolutely stunning! Wonderful seeing all the different peaks from up there along with climbers heading further up. I don't necessarily agree with the need to ski in August but some were being pulled up (& down!) by snow mobiles - spoilt the tranquility really. The ice caves were something else, wow! The sculptures were amazing! Worth every penny (even the 2chf to use the loo, which you get back if you buy anything even a coffee)
