For me, Mainau Island is a very *special* island with a lot of flair and is definitely romantic too. So there is something for everyone, and for families with children, there are also dinosaurs, a farm, and a large playground. I bought the ticket for myself as a gift, booked it online—you can save 3 euros—and redeemed it on my birthday on September 7th. And I made a magical day out of it. The butterfly house with its many exotic butterflies was important to me. And I was warmly welcomed by this laughing flower at the entrance. Other than that, I just let myself drift along, marveling at the beautiful flower beds and unique trees. A big thank you to all the gardeners and hardworking helpers who create and maintain such beautiful works of art. I took the bus to Mainau Island, it was all very easy.

There are four highlights: 1. The island itself is absolutely amazing. The layout of the paths, the transition from old trees to flower-lined paths, and the dining options 2. I was able to finish a book about butterflies, thanks to the butterfly house 3. I started a book of flower photos, with a substantial contribution from Mainau 4. We ate, drank, and enjoyed the beautiful location of the harbor. Plus, we made stops at the other culinary hotspots

Very nice for a day trip with the whole family, your loved one, or even with friends! The island offers wonderful impressions. The benches right by the water invite you to take a break with a fantastic, distant view of the Alps. Children can run wild on the large playground. The castle at the top with its chapel is impressive. The waterfall leading to the flowers is simply great. The flowers and the butterfly house speak for themselves—you have to experience it for yourself.

This is a lovely island worth visiting. The flower gardens are organized so nicely and it has places you can enjoy a drink and/or snack as you make your way around the island. Dogs are also allowed and that is wonderful.

Beautiful scenery, so many special moments - I have planned House of Palms, Dahlias area and Butterfly House, and in the end I have enjoyed the Corn Labyrinth the most! 6 hours of unforgettable views and experiences.
