I highly recommend a trip to the Mahanakhon. It is easy to get to, and easy to access. The skyline viewing is available on several floors with stunning views over Bangkok. There is a souvenir shop on the main level when you get to the top, and also a small cafe with seating available. You can then go higher up on the escalator to the next level, then right to the top either by a glass lift or steps. More refreshments can be purchased at the top, and there is seating available. On the way back down it is worth doing the interactive experience on level 4.

Amazing experience at the Mahanakhon SkyWalk! The direct entry ticket made everything smooth and stress-free. The rooftop view over Bangkok is absolutely breathtaking, especially at sunset when the city lights start to glow. Walking on the glass floor was thrilling and perfect for unforgettable photos. Well organized and friendly staff. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Bangkok

In fact, my experience was cut short. I booked two tickets for the Mahanakhon SkyWalk for 11:30 a.m., but at 10:30 a.m. I received an email saying that there was a bug in the ticket issuance system and that it could take four hours. So I sent an email to cancel them and bought tickets at the ticket office for 11:00 a.m., only to finally receive two tickets at 11:25 a.m., a little too late 😦. So we ended up paying for admission twice. The conclusion is that it's better to order the day before.

The view was breathtaking, and walking across the large glass floor took some effort. The visit was definitely worth it. Great value for money. It's a shame we couldn't manage with public transportation. We ended up taking a taxi.

Visit the Outdoor Observation Deck - the highest observation deck in Thailand! A hydraulic glass lift will take you to the 78th floor, where if you dare to step onto the ‘Glass Tray,’ a glass floor that juts out from the edge of the building, 310 meters above the ground.

Mahanakhon SkyWalk

The Mahanakhon Tower is accessible to visitors with reduced mobility.

Guests are required to wear proper and respectful attire – shirts and shoes are always required (no bare feet allowed).

The SkyWalk includes high-speed elevator rides and observatory & rooftop views above 300 meters. Guests who suffer from claustrophobia and/or acrophobia should consult with a team member before visiting.

Guests are subject to security screening, including but not limited to an x-ray examination and/or inspection of bags.

Restrictions

Note that the following are not allowed on this tour: Bicycles, scooters, tricycles, skateboards, parashot, roller skates, shoes with wheels, smoking & vaping.

Children under 12 must be accompanied by a guardian who's at least 20 years old.

The use of selfie sticks is prohibited by low-level glass panels on the rooftop.

Any luggage larger than 9 x 14 x 22 inches (22 x 35 x 56 cm) is not allowed.

Please note that the 78th-floor Outdoor Observation Deck is not accessible for children under 12 years old.

Access to the rooftop is not offered.
