It was a super day. After Headout helped us transfer the tickets to a different email address because my old one broke, we were luckily still able to go. Upon arrival, we had to stand in line for our time slot, and it was extremely hot. The staff provided a lovely cool mist, which made the wait a lot more pleasant. Once inside, it was wonderfully cool. What a huge museum this is. As Dutch people, we naturally wanted to see the Mona Lisa first, so that was our first goal. When we arrived in the room, it was already super crowded in front of the painting, but even there, everything was extremely well organized. There were people keeping an eye on things to make sure everything went smoothly. Top job!

The app was easy to use. I got reminder emails. The entrance into the Louvre was simple. Have your ticket open, show the staff your arrival time, line up behind your time-slot sign and then they let you in. There is bag security, down the escalator and that's it, easy-peasy! Wonderful exhibits and big crowds, be prepared for the crowds. Don't forget to grab a museum map!

The guide was phenomenal! Even when there's nothing to look at he was giving us background. He held space for us. He explained in depth history and gave us context of pieces. It was worth every penny.

Timothy was an amazing guide! Our tour of the Louvre was incredibly interesting and went far beyond the usual facts. He shared so many fascinating details and stories that you wouldn’t easily find in guidebooks or online. The tour was very well organized, and we managed to see a lot in just two hours without ever feeling rushed. Timothy also knew exactly where to stand and which angles to use for the best photos with as few people in the background as possible. We especially loved his sense of humor and the relaxed, engaging way he told the stories. The two hours flew by! We really enjoyed the tour and would highly recommend Timothy to anyone visiting the Louvre.

We could easily access the e-tickets through the app and enter via the line assigned to our time slot. Afterwards, we had a fantastic Seine cruise. We could basically board the cruise as soon as we arrived, simply by showing our e-tickets. The highlight was definitely the beautiful weather and being able to take some amazing close-up selfies with the Eiffel Tower and Notre-Dame during the cruise. It made the whole experience even more memorable! I also had a great experience with Headout when purchasing musical tickets in London and a half day trip to Versailles. Based on these experiences, I will definitely be using Headout to book my sightseeing activities in the future.

A few hours before our appointment, our guide Pépé sent a WhatsApp message to check if our cell phone number was correct and to clarify the meeting point. He also forwarded the PDFs of our tickets. As scheduled, he spent an hour explaining the various buildings of the Louvre and the surrounding gardens and structures. His explanations were peppered with funny anecdotes, making it not only interesting but also fun to follow along. This was true even for our kids, ages 13 and 11.

Our tour guide Diana was just brilliant; knowledgeable and friendly she brought all the art work to life. Despite it being so busy and hot, Diana managed to guide us to lots of incredible art and the two hours raced by.
