Roger is an instructor and pianist in New York City who has performed before sold-out crowds at Carnegie Hall, The Brooklyn Academy of Music, New York's avant-garde venue Le Poisson Rouge, and several major halls in Europe. He is also an actor, writer, producer of theatrical productions, and film director. Under the guidance of acclaimed actor/director Austin Pendleton, he started composing his one-man play Dedication in 2018. (Obie-winning director). In the subsequent three and a half years, Roger revised Dedication with assistance from renowned Broadway director Seth Barrish (Mike Birbiglia). In August 2021, the play was performed and filmed in New York City. The film adaptation of the play was so successful that Menemsha films snatched it up for distribution, and it has been shown at some of the world's most renowned film festivals. In August 2022, Dedication had its world premiere at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, receiving four-star ratings from reviewers and a resounding reception from the crowd.
