What’s not allowed

Large bags, suitcases, and oversized luggage are not allowed inside the attractions for security reasons.

Pets are not permitted, except for registered service animals.

Smoking, alcohol, and drugs are strictly prohibited on the premises.

Flash photography, tripods, and filming equipment are not allowed inside the exhibition spaces and the salt mine.

Accessibility

This experience is not wheelchair accessible and may not be suitable for guests with limited mobility due to stairs and uneven surfaces, particularly in the salt mine.

Additional information

The Wawel Cathedral is an active place of religious worship. During important religious, state, or jubilee events, or visits of important guests, admission to the cathedral, royal tombs, or bell tower may be suspended without prior notice. In such cases, the organizer reserves the right to replace the entrance to the Cathedral with another site within the castle complex.

Please arrive at the meeting point at least 10 minutes before the scheduled start time.

An adult must accompany children at all times.

The tour involves descending and ascending numerous steps in the salt mine; there are no elevators available for visitors.
