Our guide, Loreta, was fantastic! So knowledgeable, but also fun and gave lots of interesting, little-known extra tidbits. She kept the tour going apace, and interesting the whole time, and was clear about instructions and expectations. The tour itself was also excellent! It hit all the high points for us (dome, basilica, museum, Sistine Chapel) in a reasonable amount of time (even though we spent 6 hours on the "4-1/2 hour" tour, it still felt interesting the whole time -- we saw a LOT of stuff, but could tell that we could spend MANY more hours there, so much to see!) BTW, we didn't have much cash on us, so it would've been very nice to have a QR code at the end that we could use to give our guide a tip electronically.

Es war eine unglaubliche Tour. Da hat sich das frühe aufstehen gelohnt. Einfach ein Traum. Auch unsere Reiseleitung Loretta war einfach fantastisch. Petersplatz fast ganz leer. Ohne diese Tour hätte man in den Sehenswürdigkeiten nur die Hälfte gesehen oder überhaupt nicht wahrgenommen. Das einzige was zu empfehlen ist. Man muss echt ein bisschen fit sein wenn man auf die Kuppel des Petersdom gehen möchte. Und keine Platzangst haben. Auch die 6 Stunden wie lange die Tour dauert ist anstrengend. Aber auf jedenfall lohnenswert

Carolina, our guide, was simply wonderful! We wish she was our friend - neverending fountain of knolwedge. She kept us enteratained for the whole tour, always giving relevant information and little breaks at appropiate times. She is a great organiser and seems to know everyone around. We thoroughly enjoyed walking around Vatican with her, she tooks us to the Dome and back, to the BAsilica and the museum. I cannot recommend her enough :)

Great experience! What a day that was! Awe inspiring sights all over the Vatican. Our guide Sandra was wonderful taking us through fast lanes and explaining everything in detail. She was patient with everyone's needs and questions! Fabulous unforgettable experience!

Our guide Sandra was great. We missed a tour years ago because meeting point was confusing but she made absolutely every effort to find and include some that had problems with meeting spot. She was knowledgeable and easy to understand.

An almost empty Peter's Basilica - wow. Simona our guide was so good at telling the important facts. Everything was timed perfectly without feeling rushed. Tour was worth every Dime!

Nadia, our tour guide was very courteous, knowledgeable, and fun. We enjoyed the tour very much, however, the tour was very long (6 hours) and the meeting location showed either of two places to meet, and is easily confusing. The tour guy representative at the main office was very helpful and made sure we made it to the right meeting location in time. If you take the duomo tour, make sure you are ok with lots of stairs and some narrow corridors. Ciao

Meet your guide at the designated meeting point near the Vatican Museums entrance by 7:45am. Skip the ticketing lines and enter with your group before the doors open to the public. Be prepared for a quick security check—ID may be required.

What to bring

Wear comfortable shoes as the experience requires a fair amount of walking.

What's not allowed

Strict dress code: knees, shoulders, and back must be covered for all guests.

Inside the Sistine Chapel, it's all about the quiet vibes. No chatting, no phones, and no photos, just pure admiration.

Luggage and/or large bags are not allowed inside the venue. You may drop off your bags with the free cloakroom service.

Pets and other small animals are not allowed in the venue.

The entrance to the Museums is timed. Be sure to select your activity starting time when booking. Once inside the Museums, you will be free to explore at your own pace.

Although not included in these tickets, access to St. Peter's Basilica is free but there could be a waiting line during peak season.

Please be aware that during the Jubilee Year, certain areas of the Vatican Museums may be inaccessible due to religious ceremonies. Additionally, entrance to St. Peter's Basilica may also experience unannounced closures. These circumstances are beyond our control. Thank you for your understanding.
