So easy to buy tickets on line. We were met by 2 young well dressed people who gave us our actual tickets and guided us to the entrance. I had made the decision not to take photos and to just immerse myself in the whole experience. I was not disappointed (there are plenty of images on-line anyhow). This is our 5th week in Europe visiting so many museums but this was the highlight. An absolute must see!

We were at the meeting point just ahead of time and were taken to the end of one of the lines near the entrance. At first, we thought this was a bit disappointing as we still had to queue but we were pleasantly surprised as the wait was less than 5 minutes and we were straight into the Accademia. We had mainly gone to see the David statue so asked the very helpful staff members for directions. Once there we were totally taken aback by the beauty of this artwork. I cried. It was an uplifting and amazing experience and more than we expected. Thank you Headout for a wonderful experience.

Ao chegar ao local, um pouco cedo, fui direto me informar com a pessoa do controle de ingresso. Ela me indicou o local de encontro. No local de encontro ainda não tinha ninguém. Aguardei por uns quinze minutos e, faltando 15 minutos, chegou uma moça para atender os visitantes. Deu todas as informações, respondeu dúvidas, orientou sobre a visita, nos acompanhou durante o processo de entrada e cuidou para que todos entrassem sem problemas. Nos ajudou muito e parabéns para a equipe do local. Sugestão: colocar uma faixa com o logotipo da empresa e a inscrição para aguadar aqui.

Ingresso accademia perfetto, saltata la fila senza problemi. Uffizi bene anche se qui, a causa del maggior numero di persone, comunque abbiamo dovuto fare la fila

Large bags, backpacks, and umbrellas (must be left in the free cloakroom near the entrance)

Accademia Gallery:

Pets (except guide dogs, service dogs, and certified therapy pets)

Accessibility

Both the Uffizi and Accademia Galleries are wheelchair- and stroller-accessible, with facilities to accommodate visitors with mobility needs.

Additional information

Tip: Start at the Accademia for a shorter visit and finish at the Uffizi, which typically takes longer to explore.

No re-entry is allowed once you exit either gallery.

On the first Sunday of every month, the Uffizi offers free entry during normal opening hours.

Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult at the Accademia.

Your voucher will be emailed to you shortly.

Please display the voucher on your mobile phone with a valid photo ID at the ticket redemption point of each attraction.

If you have purchased reduced-price tickets, please carry your valid photo ID proof for verification. Students must show their valid student IDs.

Kindly ensure that you arrive 20 minutes before the start time of your tour to avoid any delays.

Make your way to the ticket counter at Door 3 to exchange your mobile voucher for a physical ticket.

You can then head to Door 1 and head in (look for the 'People with Reservations' sign).

Make your way to the Ticketing Counter the Galleria dell'Accademia, Via Ricasoli, 58 (street)

The gallery is just a 1-minute walk from the 'Museum of Craft' & from the 'David of Michelangelo Statue'

You can also spot a tiny bookstore door (Libreria Gozzini) just opposite the gallery
