You do not get any physical tickets or qr codes but you have to get the booking reference and then show them at the ticket desk. They then give you the tickets. I was skeptical but it worked. Trip was Awsome highly recommend

Zermatt was nothing short of magical, and the train journey up to see the iconic Toblerone mountain (the Matterhorn) was an experience in itself. From the moment we boarded, the views just kept getting better—snow-covered peaks, charming alpine scenery, and that quiet, peaceful feeling you only get in the mountains. The train ride was smooth, well-organised, and absolutely worth it for the panoramic views alone. Seeing the Matterhorn up close felt surreal, like stepping into a postcard. Everything was clean, efficient, and very Swiss, which made the whole experience stress-free and enjoyable. If you’re in Zermatt, this train journey is a must. It’s not just a way to get there—it’s part of the adventure, and one I’d happily do again.
