Die Bahn ist eine technische Meisterleistung. Hut ab vor den Menschen, die sie vor Jahren möglich gemacht haben!!!! Die Aussicht auf das Matterhorn und die umliegenden Bergriesen waren Wow! Die Aussichtsplattform, die Gastronomie und die Ausstellung sind sehr gut gestaltet. Trotz guter Organisation beim Ein- und Aussteigen in n die Bahn, kam es zu Rangeleien. Es waren einfach zu viele Menschen!

Haben das Matterhorn mit der Gornergratbahn erkundet. Soweit alles gut gut funktioniert mit den Tickets, mit einer Kritik : Stellten sich mit dem zugesandten CR-Code Tickets in der Schlange an, jedoch mussten wir feststellen, das man vorher mit dem CR-Code Ticket das Einlassticket beim Ticketschalter lösen muss. Also nach langen Anstellen wieder retour zum Ticketschalter. Lösungsvorschlag : Vielleicht einen Hinweis beim Ticketkaufs das man erst ein richtes Ticket lösen muss, oder hab ich das überlesen.

We went early, queued before it opened & had the best views without the crowds - absolutely stunning! Wonderful seeing all the different peaks from up there along with climbers heading further up. I don't necessarily agree with the need to ski in August but some were being pulled up (& down!) by snow mobiles - spoilt the tranquility really. The ice caves were something else, wow! The sculptures were amazing! Worth every penny (even the 2chf to use the loo, which you get back if you buy anything even a coffee)

We booked a tour because we were afraid that it would be difficult to navigate on our own. The tour was cancelled, so we bought the cable car tickets online. How fortunate for us that the tour was cancelled! The cable car was so easy to use, and we saved a lot of money by booking ourselves. We were able to spend the day at our leisure, and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. I would highly recommend booking this on your trip to Zermatt.

La explicación del tipo de ticket que estaría comprando. Aunque si harían falta más detalles, al subir fui por tren cuando podría haber usado la góndola desde el inicio, usar ambas ampliaron la experiencia.

Absolut phantastisch, das Personal war freundlich und kompetent. Die Fahrt herauf zum Gornergrat bietet auf jedem Meter tolle Aussicht auf Zermatt und das Matterhorn. Oben angekommen genießt man den Blick auf die vielen Gletscher und 28 Viertausender. Ein unvergessliches Erlebnis.
