I have wanted to see The Colosseum for years, and it did not dissapoint. The scale of the place is astounding, and the engineering, size and the bulding itself is just breathtaking. It was well worth paying to "skip the queue" as it was very busy and I can't stand for long, and with this ticket we were through the airport style security in 5 minutes. Also inside The Colosseum itself there were lots of opportunities and places to sit down and rest. We had an audio guide so we could take our time and not have to move off if we didn't want to - no-one rushed us.

We have tikets with the selected time entering at 15:00. I can say that even if we were a little stressed to arrive in time there ( we came srraihjt from the airport), we arrived way earlier and the staff told us the time is very light and to come back to the waiting line 10 minutes before 15:00. It was very easy and we enjoyed only the Colloseum, that standard bisit without underground or arena, but it was worth it even like this. I recomend it.

Rome est une très belle ville à visiter. C’est très pratique de pouvoir bénéficier d’un package pour ces visites. L’expérience s’est bien passée. Les petits points à améliorer : pour la première visite du Panthéon, il manquait une petite pancarte pour pouvoir repérer le groupe. Et pour la visite du Colisée, il manquait énormément d’instructions et aucun contact en amont via WhatsApp, contrairement aux autres guides.

ROMA CAPUT MUNDI! sono riuscita trovare i biglietti per il Colosseo, i Fori, il capitolino ed l carcere mamertino per pura fortuna (visto il ponte del 1° maggio) tutto organizzato benissimo. Il biglietto era un "salta la fila", quindi, zero attesa. Purtroppo non ho trovato biglietti per i musei Vaticani, che dire? Una buona occasione per ritornare!!!

Sicuramente Tutto bello ,affascinante con questo biglietto non abbiamo fatto code (che sono veramente lunghe)ma l'indirizzo dato x punto d'incontro al campidoglio non era esatto ma bisognava andare direttamente alle carceri. L'audio guida Sicuramente comoda ma i totoli non erano corrispondenti a quelle del sito magari non molto intuitivi noi...

Wszystko przebiegło zgodnie z oczekiwaniem i zapowiedziami w aplikacji. Sprawnie poszło odebranie biletów (chociaż pechowo akurat system w kasie się zawiesił na kilkanaście minut). Wchodziliśmy na 17 i czasu starczyło na zobaczenie Coloseum, Forum Romanum oraz Palatin.

What's not allowed

Large backpacks, and luggage are not allowed inside the venue.

No storage facility is available. You can, however, take a baby stroller into the Colosseum with you, should it be necessary.

Additional information

Names are mandatory for Colosseum bookings. Double-check the names at checkout for a hassle-free entry. Be sure to bring a valid photo ID with you to gain entry.

Please note that timed priority entry is only available at the Colosseum, but the access for the Forum and Palatine will remain valid for an additional 24 hours after the Colosseum entry time selected during booking.

Note that there are 2 entrances: one for the Colosseum, and another for the Roman Forum & Palatine Hill (combined). You may enter each entrance ONLY ONCE and not re-enter.

The security check can take 30 mins or more. To make the process quicker, please insert any object (including mobile phone) in the bag/backpack or in the tray to be included in the X-ray.

Going for the audio guide? Simply ensure that the guides are downloaded on the Headout app before your visit. It’s super simple to use, and you get offline access with an easy language-switching feature. Just make sure your phone is fully charged and don’t forget to bring your favorite headphones!

If you’ve selected a variant with Mamertine Prison access, your visit begins at the Mamertine Prison (Via Clivo Argentario). Please arrive here at least 1 hour before your Colosseum time slot to collect your ticket.
