Despite our visit being on an exceptionally busy day, our pre-purchased Headout ticket ensured that we were in a line that kept moving. And while the features of St. Peter's Basilica speak volumes on their own, our appreciation of them, their purpose, and their arrangement were enhanced exponentially by the audio guide that came with our Headout experience. We'll certainly visit St. Peter's again, and we'll certainly take advantage of all that the Headout experience has to offer.

St. Peter’s Basilica is a triumph of art and faith, but securing access to the dome is what transforms a great visit into a lifetime memory. L'ingresso è stato semplice, ho raggiunto il punto di incontro in cui ho conosciuto gli addetti che mi hanno spiegato in maniera chiara come comportarmi, una volta avviato ho passato tranquillamente i punti di controllo e sono entrato ascoltando la voce guida, devo dire che è stata una esperienza altamente appagante, anche perché per il forte caldo non avrei resistito a fare la normale fila.

Un peu de difficultés à trouver le Bar l'Ottagiono (ou un nom qui s'y rapproche) pour récupérer les billets coupe-ligne. Mais ces derniers ne m'ont pas semblé mieux pour une entrée plus rapide que pour ceux et celles qui n'avaient pas ces billets. J'étais tout de même heureux de les avoir pour monter en haut dans la coupole. Mais là haut, la vue de Rome n'était pas aussispectaculaire que ce à quoi je m'attendais. Des structures bloquaient lavue. Somme toute, ça vaut la peine d'aller à la Basilique Saint-Pierre.

It started a little problematic when a guide from a different platform kept telling me I was scammed and had to wait in the general line. I called customer support and was able to link with actual basilica staff and things got straightened out. The reserved line was a breeze and the dome experience was spectacular. Stairs weren't that bad but absolutely worth it
