If you're a hiking enthusiast looking for a fun winter activity, snowshoeing is something you must try! It is ideal for those who do not wish to ski or to simply escape into nature. Begin your tour by meeting your tour guide and entering the red cabin car that takes you up to the hamlet of Sulwald. Beware: the view uphill is so beautiful that you might even forget about your upcoming snowshoe tour! Once you get to the top, your guide will help you gear up (the snowshoes allow you to walk on top of the snow rather than sink in it). Start your exploration of snowy forests and remote mountain villages. This is Switzerland as tourists never see!
Important Information
- What to bring: warm waterproof winter clothing (available to rent), camera, water, suncream, sunglasses, daypack.
- No prior experience required. However, minimum fitness is required as there will be about 1.5 - 2 hours of walking.
- This activity is suitable for guests aged 8 and above. Children aged 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult.

- Prepare equipment
- Drive to Isenfluh
- Gondola ride to Sulwald
- Instruction and briefing

- Return to Interlaken

- This tour is available from December to March, subject to weather conditions.
