The DMZ tour was a truly wonderful experience and unlike anything I have ever done. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere felt both peaceful and deeply historical, with every stop carrying a powerful story. The highlight was looking through the telescope and seeing North Korea with my own eyes—it felt completely unreal, almost like peering into another world frozen in time. DORA was knowledgeable and respectful, explaining complex history in a clear and engaging way. Walking through the sites gave me a deeper understanding of the division and its human impact. Despite the tension associated with the area, the tour was well organized and safe throughout. It is something I would highly recommend to anyone visiting South Korea, as it offers a rare and unforgettable perspective on one of the world’s most unique borders in person today there.

We really enjoyed the tour! We loved the tour guide, AJ from seoul city tour. She is the best tour guide we had so far in our stay in South Korea. She is very knowledgeable, approachable and caring. She gave a lot of historical background, and was funny so the whole trip even during the bus ride was enjoyable. There was never a dull moment. She gave us enough time for ourselves and checked in if we're doing fine, especially for the the 3rd infiltration tunnel which was quite tiring. Overall, super satisfied and really recommend her and the tour!

I loved the entire tour! I've never been on a guided tour and this one really was special to me! Our guide Charles explained everything so well to us, kept us entertained and even took good pictures for us! I was really tired, having done hiking the day before but it was so impressive I just had to do everything from going to the end of the DMZ tunnel to the Mount Gamaksan bridge, I loved this tour!

The guide, Charles, explained everything really well and made the tour very interesting. The suspension bridge as well as the observatory and the tunnel were all mind blowing and fun to do and see. Charles also pointed out well the safety measures so I had no trouble going down or coming back up the tunnel.

This was such a meaningful tour where we learned about the history of Korea. It was particularly interesting to hear from North Korean defectors experiences firsthand. Jun was an incredible guide who shared educational fun facts. We haw a deeper appreciation for the culture and people. Thank you.

What to bring

Wear comfortable walking shoes as you walk through the tunnel and on different terrains.

Bring your valid passport, which the military officials at the entrance of DMZ will check.

What's not allowed

Luggage and large bags are not allowed on the tour.

Waving, pointing, signaling, or photography without permission are not allowed at the DMZ.

Strict Dress Code: No ripped pants, shorts, skirts, or camouflage.

DMZ is not the kind of place a traveler can just wander off. Tourists must stay with their guide and military escorts at all times.

This tour is not recommended for those who are pregnant, have medical conditions like high blood pressure, seniors, or those with mobility issues.

DMZ is a military area and hence it can close without prior notice.
