Guide Charles made it very good and we learned a lot about history and people. Well organized. Maybe the visit of the "Northkorean House", a warehouse with souvenir shop, and story telling lady, isn't necessary.

A very insightful visit, especially if you are interested in the relationship between the two Koreas. Being in a military zone the schedule was very tight but well organized by Chloe. She cared a lot about our experience and made sure we understood everything about the tour and the history of the DMZ.

The tour is highly recommended, and our guide, Jin, was very friendly throughout. She made sure to explain everything to us and was very polite, particularly when discussing political issues, which can often be sensitive. I would recommend it.

Go for a half-day tour with an English-speaking guide to the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ), a buffer zone separating North and South Korea with easy round-trip transfers from Seoul.

Discover the history of the Korean War at Imjingak Park. See the bullet-riddled Freedom Bridge, where 12,773 POWs walked to freedom.

Venture into the 3rd Infiltration Tunnel, dug by North Korea and discovered in 1978. Visit Dora Observatory, and see North Korea's 160m flagpole in Kijong-dong, nicknamed "Propaganda Village”.

Stop by the Unification Village, a small farming community that specializes in creating soybean milk, traditional soy sauce, and corn goods.

What to bring

Wear comfortable walking shoes as you walk through the tunnel and on different terrains.

Bring your valid passport, which the military officials at the entrance of DMZ will check.

What's not allowed

Luggage and large bags are not allowed on the tour.

Waving, pointing, signaling, or photography without permission are not allowed at the DMZ.

Strict Dress Code: No ripped pants, shorts, skirts, or camouflage.

DMZ is not the kind of place a traveler can just wander off. Tourists must stay with their guide and military escorts at all times.

This tour is not recommended for those who are pregnant, have medical conditions like high blood pressure, seniors, or those with mobility issues.
