Scenic Views on Sagano Train Ride

Fushimi-Inari Taisha and Kiyomizu-dera Temple
Fushimi-Inari Taisha is the head shrine for the 30,000 Inari shrines in Japan, where you can take a stroll along the long Torii tunnel, and discover fox statues scattered throughout the shrine. Kiyomizu-dera temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, lies on the foothills of Mount Otowa. This temple is famous for being built without the use of a single nail. Its Main Hall rests on a wooden stage soaring 13 meters above the hillside. Return to Namba Station and end the tour with your newfound insight into the culture of Kyoto city.
