For our first time in Amsterdam I wanted to make it special to my family so I picked out one of the most famous museums there. Our journey started off well when we were mesmerized by the gardens we saw first up front. Continuing with our entrance we didn't need to wait much as per our pre-booked tickets. The staff at the door was very nice. All of the staff talked great in English and as tourist we felt integrated. The museum was enormous, had a lot to see. The art pieces gave our family a touch to Dutch history and the beauty of it. We recommend to have a guide because unfortunately we didn't have one and prehaps it was bigger than I had assumed and the idea that I could handle it alone was... wrong. Hopefully my daughters helped me a lot. We also recommend to go early morning because it can be crowded.But people there were really respectful! One of the craziest thing I might have seen there was the library! We were observeing the architecture when we saw really people reading and studying downstaris and the tourist up here were really respectful by being quiet! If you get tired there were portable chairs at the reception that you could take with you, very thoughtful! There was also a type of restaurant that was placed in a beautiful part. Tip: don't miss the gardens and also best time to vist: April and May. Overall it was and experience that I would choose it again. I'm so glad that this museum was on my list. Thank you Amsterdam!

I reallly appreciated the fine organization of picking up and the sharpness in the leaving. The bus was quite comfortable and I enjoyed the trip during which it was nice to see beautiful landscapes with tulip fields and Dutch houses. Keaukenhof park is wonderful. I think the best park I have ever visited! A very wide park cared for in every detail, with a fantastic colour harmony in the colours of the flowers, planted in the ground with wise inspiration. I also enjoyed nice lawns to sit on for a bit of rest. The coming back was perfect and available every half hour. Very good experience.

Der keukenhof ist beeindruckend, allerdings muss man Menschen mögen.es ist sehr voll und im Zeichen von social Media fällt Respekt vor dem nächsten den streben nach dem besten Selfie zum Opfer. Das nächste Mal werde ich wohl ganz früh morgens oder abends dort hin gehen. Die Preise auf dem Gelände sind üppig, besser ein Imbiss Paket mitbringen. Bootstour ab der Windmühle war bereits ausverkauft daher kann ich keinen Eindruck schildern. Besser früh buchen

Lots of flowers and kinds of flowers were impressive. When I looked around flowers garden with a pond and stepping stones, I listened to CCM 'Goodness of God'. I was filled with God's grace by the various colorful tulip flowrs in full blossom.

The tickets were wonderful. They were colourful and printed on good quality paper. The tickets were also perforated along the top allowing entry staff to tear them easily. I might recommend these high quality tickets.

The Rijksmuseum is one of the most impressive museums I have ever visited. The building itself is beautiful, with a mix of historic and modern design that makes it feel both grand and welcoming. Inside, the museum has an incredible collection of art and history, including famous Dutch paintings, detailed sculptures, and fascinating exhibits about the Netherlands. The highlight for me was seeing the masterpieces by Rembrandt and Vermeer up close—they feel much more powerful in real life than in pictures. The museum is very well organized, making it easy to explore at your own pace without feeling lost. There are also interactive displays that make learning more engaging, especially for younger visitors. Overall, the Rijksmuseum offers a rich cultural experience and is definitely worth visiting if you are in Amsterdam.

If you really appreciate art work, take more time in Rijkmuseum. I went at 9.15am and had to rush out at 3pm for canal cruise. The cruise was pleasant as it was sunny! Suggest doing these 2 separate day or book canal cruise later at 4pm or 5pm. Take note to bring earbud for free app usage if not you will have to pay Euro 6.50 per device for the art narration. I think you can do without it as well but it will take longer to read all the descriptions.

Entry is permitted up to 15 minutes after the time shown on your ticket. You may remain inside the museum until closing.

Visitors who need assistance navigating the museum may bring one companion free of charge. A companion ticket can be collected at cash register 1.

The museum’s cafés and shops operate cashless and do not accept cash payments.

Only handbags no larger than A4 size are allowed inside. Larger bags, umbrellas, and similar items must be stored in the cloakroom.

Tickets are valid only for the selected date and time slot and cannot be changed. Late arrivals or no-shows may forfeit entry, refunds, or rescheduling.

If you expect to arrive late, please speak with Rijksmuseum staff at the entrance. While entry cannot be guaranteed, assistance may be provided subject to availability.

Keukenhof

Exchange your voucher for the bus tour to receive your official entry ticket.

The ticket is only valid for the day stamped on it.

Typical travel time is approximately 35–50 minutes each way, depending on traffic.

Plan around 6–8 hours for your visit, but you may stay as long as you like at Keukenhof until closing time.

Buses back to Amsterdam depart between 11am and 6:30pm, with the last bus leaving Keukenhof at 6:30pm.

Facilities: Free Wi-Fi, small lockers, left luggage facility, dining outlets, parking, charging stations for electric vehicles, and bike rental.
