Just the most fun experience to do either with kids or with a girls trip, I have done both of them! The music in the tram on the way down is the icing on the cake.

We had an awesome experience at the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway. The ride up was smooth and really scenic. It was raining snow as we were going up, which made it even more special. Watching the view change from the desert to snow covered mountains was amazing. When we arrived at the top, everything was white and beautiful. It felt like we traveled to a different place in just a few minutes. The air was fresh and cold, and walking around while it was snowing was such a fun experience. The views were stunning even with the clouds. Everything was well organized and easy from start to finish. I highly recommend this experience, especially if you get to see it snowing like we did.

The trip to the top of the mountain was smooth and enjoyable even in weather that was tricky - it was snowing! The company was professional, the gondola and facilities were clean, all employees were friendly and helpful.

As you ascend, you'll pass through five different ecological zones, each showing off a new side of Southern California’s diverse landscapes. The tram car rotates as you go, offering incredible views of Chino Canyon.

From desert sands to cool mountain air

Starting at Valley Station, located at 2,643 feet (805 meters), the tram transports you up to Mountain Station at 8,516 feet (2,596 meters). The temperature drops significantly as you ascend, refreshing from the desert heat below. The cooler air, combined with the breathtaking views, provides a dramatic contrast to the arid conditions of the valley. The ride allows you to witness the sharp contrast between the desert below and the lush, green forest that awaits you at the top.
