    Quite a challenge to make it up the 450 odd steps but well worth it for the fantastic panoramic views!

    Access to the tower was very easy.. Just note that there are a lot of steps inside the town hall before you get to the tower climb. Once in the tower you can stop for a rest in a little room which was a prison and then half way up there is 360 viewing before making the last climb to top. At the top there are great views over Florence and the the duomo. Well worth the effort. This is a good choice if you feeling climbing the duomo dome or the Campanile bell tower is too much.

    Guides very helpful if asked worth the steps for the amazing views including the Duomo so a better tower to climb lots of resting places if needed
