Visiting Niagara Falls was absolutely unforgettable. The sheer power and beauty of the falls are beyond anything you can capture in photos—you really have to experience it in person. The sound of the rushing water, the mist in the air, and the breathtaking views from every angle make it feel almost surreal. Whether you’re taking a boat ride right up to the falls or just enjoying the scenic overlooks, every moment feels special. The surrounding area is clean, well-maintained, and full of great spots to relax and take it all in. This is one of those places that truly lives up to the hype. If you get the chance to go, don’t hesitate—you won’t be disappointed! 🌊

This tour was great! We learned about some of the hid Tory of the Falls and heard some unique stories, as well. Our tour guide was enthusiastic and easy to talk to, as well as being bilingual, which allowed him to translate for others on board. I really enjoyed taking our two sons on the Maid of the Mist boat tour, as well as walking around the park. An experience to remember, for sure!

So many pics to go through and a trip worth every penny. The falls take your breath away with its powerful beauty! Bring extra shoes and dont wear jeans.😁

Maid of the Mist itself was amazing. 10/10 recommend. Our guide was new, was late and would literally walk us from place to place without conversation and say "We'll be here 7-10 minutes so you can take pictures." 7-10 minutes later would say "Now we're going ____." She couldn't answer basic questions ("I get my facts mixed up.") One of the tour stops was the gift shop. 🤦🏻‍♀️ Since we (accidentally) hit all of the trip highlights on the way to the meeting point, we peeled off and did the Caverns. (Also 10/10 recommend.) You CAN do Maid of the Mist WITHOUT a tour guide.

The boat ride was great but the guided tour was not worth the upcharge. Our guide was a nice, friendly person but it did not add to our experience.

What to bring

Both attractions provide a free plastic poncho with admission, but since mist and weather can make conditions damp and cool, consider bringing a jacket or change of clothes to stay comfortable during your visit.

Accessibility

This experience is not accessible by wheelchair.

This experience is pram/stroller accessible. You will have to leave the strollers in the designated stroller parking area before boarding the boat.

Your guide dogs are welcome at the venue.

Additional information

The Maid of the Mist boat ride is not operational during winter months and will be replaced by the Cave of the Winds experience.

This tour takes place entirely on the US side and does not include crossing the bridge into Canada.
