We loved EVERYTHING!! Our children have grown up. It seems like they don't have much time for their parents. And maybe they kinda feel the same about us. It does seem like there is a shortage of time. The older we get, the faster the time goes. Any time we are together, it is special. It might not feel like that at first. It might seem chaotic, and rushed, and we sometimes lose our patients. That's ok, it's normal. But in those quite moments we get to ourselves, I look at my wife and my kids, and I realize how special these times are. They fly by. Too fast. Too short. But they will live on, in my memories, in my daydreams, and in those quick little reflections, like a shooting star that races across the night sky, and burns out quicker, and hotter, and before we realize it was there.... and it's gone. We never forget those stars. Those moments. And we may not be together tonight, but we're always together in my night sky.

We booked the guided walking tour to see the Maiden of the Mist, observation deck and then the Cave of the Winds. We were paired with Gregory and it was honestly the best tour we have ever did. our tour guide is from the area and he was well informed of the area and the historical facts and recommendations of the area. His fun facts were a hit with my son. And he is a moody teenager so that should tell you Im telling the truth. It was easy to find the beginning point. It is definitely a walking tour some people in the group missed that bit of information but its a very slow pace. If you ever take this tour I hope you get Gregory. We were the purple and green bead group!!

Maid of the Mist is a Must! Don't come to Niagra Falls without booking your tour with it included truly UNFORGETTABLE from start to finish, the tour was very knowledgeable on the facts from the start of the falls and its creation to its now protected beauty, the views are jaw dropping, the Maid of the Mist is exhilarating, Have of the winds gets you up close and personal with over 60,000 gallons at the base of the falls truly spectacular. Book your tour and do it right with Maid of the Mist, Cave of Winds, and Observation Tower. You wont regret jiggly recommend

Right from the beginning, I knew they would be great. We were an hour early and saw there was a group leaving to start their tour. I asked if we could join this earlier tour. They said YES! Robert was our tour guide and welcomed us as family. Robert was great, informative, funny and extremely helpful. My husband was in a wheelchair and he helped us by directing us to all elevators and ramps. He even came with us down some steep ramps. We had a fantastic time! Thank you soooo much! Our guide Peter was amazing—personable, professional, and efficient at getting us to the Maid of the Mist quickly. Hit all the hot spots. Great historian. Felt like a private tour. Took our kids, and he handled all the chaos of planning our trip — it was fantastic. He communicated well before the trip, was easy to locate, and on time. Other guides with their tours seemed to have a hard time finding their guides, and they were not as friendly. Great photographer and excellent suggestions for both the U.S. and Canadian sides. Our family of four loved our tour! Our guide Paul was friendly and knowledgeable, and gave us some great tips on where to visit and how to get around. We took the trolley on the way back at his advice, and it was soo worth the $13 we paid for it. The Maid of the Mist boat tour was so much fun, though my 4-year-old was a little freaked out by the falls. We also enjoyed the Cave of the Winds, but it was mostly an opportunity to get soaked! The history video at the beginning of the Cave of the Winds tour was fun and informative. We all enjoyed it.

We had an amazing time on our Maid of the Mist journey . Our guide Brian was friendly,knowledgeable,and professional in every way. We were able to move through lines quickly, board the boat at ease all while Brian answered questions and gave us information. We received our complementary rain ponchos and were off. We received valuable information as we went closer and closer to the falls. On th American side the falls are beautiful and powerful. As you continue on you get closer to the Canadian falls which are incredible. You are taken into the mist which is amazing. I highly recommend this tour if you find yourself in Niagara Falls!

This classic boat ride takes you from the base of the American Falls toward the basin of Horseshoe Falls, with open-air decks for close-up views.

Board the Maid of the Mist boat using your included admission to the Maid of the Mist boat tour, available seasonally from May.

What to expect

The Observation Tower (also referred to as the Niagara or Prospect Point Observation Tower) extends out over the Niagara Gorge, giving an elevated view of the river and falls.

Look down toward the Maid of the Mist landing area and across to the American and Bridal Veil Falls from this elevated platform.

Cave of the Winds brings you to wooden walkways at the base of the Bridal Veil Falls, where you can feel the force of the water at close range.

Walk the series of platforms and decks near the base of Bridal Veil Falls, where wind and spray intensify as you move closer to the water.

Take advantage of the shuttle to Cave of the Winds on the applicable option, which simplifies transport between main viewpoints and the attraction.

Small-group and transportation options

Some variants are designed for a more personalized experience and convenient logistics within Niagara Falls, USA.

Seasonal operation: The Maid of the Mist boat ride is not operational during winter months.

Winter replacement: When the boat is not operating, the experience is replaced by the Cave of the Winds.

Tour location: This tour takes place entirely on the US side and does not include crossing the bridge into Canada.
