The Naples Archeological Museum is a remarkable experience, a must for anyone interested in art and history.The exposition is superb with many memorable statues, mosiacs and frescoes almost 2 thousand year old and very beautiful. This is despite the Alexander mosaic being in renovation. The museum is well organized and so we did not feel uncomfortable in a crowd. What to me could be improved is the instruction in the booking confirmation- not everyone is computer/IT genius and the confirmation implied that one can get the tickets basing on ID ( this si not true, the app is obligatory ). Als the download of floorplan to computer did not work ( but the one in the museum did . However these small distractions do not alter the impression- the Naples Arcehological Museum is great !

Une visite absolument incontournable à Naples. Le musée archéologique est d’une richesse exceptionnelle : mosaïques, statues, fresques et objets provenant de Pompéi et d’Herculanum sont tout simplement impressionnants. Chaque salle est fascinante et permet de mieux comprendre la vie dans l’Antiquité. Le musée est vaste, bien organisé et mérite qu’on y passe plusieurs heures. Un lieu passionnant, aussi bien pour les amateurs d’histoire que pour les visiteurs curieux. Je recommande vivement !

Me ha gustado la variedad de salas temáticas de la historia de diversas culturas. Mucho monumentos excepcionales. Lo que no me gustó fue la poca atención de una señorita que no había manera de que informara de la guía impresa o auto guía del museo. Se limitaba a decir que leyera un cartel en italiano e inglés que yo desconocía por no saber el idioma. Por lo demás bonita experiencia

Senz'altro la comodità di evitare la fila e di poter adoperare il biglietto in qualunque momento della giornata. Non sono però riuscita a scaricare la guida digitale in italiano, sicuramente per mia incapacità. Era solo in inglese.

Magnifiques statues en référence à la mythologie romaine, égyptienne et grecque. Très beau musée avec des œuvres découvertes sur le site de Pompéi. Petit bémol : l'audioguide est pas terrible. Il vaut mieux prendre un guide.
