The guide was excellent...unfortunately I can't remember her name. She shared many stories about details on Joe the found the artifacts, timelines on archeologists finds in Pompei and Herculean. Very engaging...kept everyone's interest.

Learn about the art and culture of the ancient world as your archaeologist guide takes you through Greek and Roman sculptures, frescoes, mosaics, and artifacts. Your guide will also provide insights into the treasures uncovered at Herculaneum and Pompeii; the Farnese Collection; and the Gabinetto Segreto.

Enter the museum and be enchanted by the grandeur of the marble and statues in the Farnese collection. Wander the galleries and admire the legendary statues of Hercules, and the majestic group called ‘Farnese Bull.’ Marvel at the mosaic of Alexander the Great as you walk through the rooms and corridors of the museum. See silvers from the House of Menandro in Pompeii and a number of Roman frescoes excavated from the Vesuvian area.
