Begin at the recreated tailor’s shop before moving through three stories of authentically restored homes. Follow stories of migrants who once lived here, view their belongings, and listen to interviews through interactive audio stations. The museum guides you through the harsh realities and close-knit community spirit of early Chinatown residents.
Getting started:
Arrive at the Chinatown Heritage Centre on Pagoda Street. It's a 2-minute walk from Exit A of Chinatown MRT Station. Show your mobile ticket at the entrance for admission.

An immersive, self-guided walk through recreated 1950s shophouse rooms, including kitchens, dormitories, and street scenes—paired with personal audio stories and original objects.
