Great day out for the family. The whole experience was wonderful from the different areas and wide range of enclosures to the meals. We loved every minute of it.

Entry wasn't as smooth as possible. Purchasing passes through headout weren't the final tickets, I had to download a separate site and log each code into that before getting my tickets. I wasn't aware of this until I arrived at the zoo so that delayed my entry. Otherwise the process worked fine and the zoo is amazing.

Loved the incredible variety of animals—most of them looked like they were living their best, well-cared-for lives. The tram ride was an absolute hero, saving our legs while hopping between the different sections of the zoo. The restaurants, however, seem to operate on the “you’re already inside the zoo” pricing model—slightly steep, but somewhat expected. Overall, the mix of free-roaming animals was a fantastic initiative; seeing them uncaged made the whole experience feel far more natural and enjoyable. 🦒🚋

Eine traumhafte, grüne Parkanlage mit viel Platz für die Tiere, die sich hier wirklich wohlfühlen können. 🌿 Alles wirkt sehr gepflegt, natürlich und mit viel Liebe gestaltet , man merkt sofort, dass hier auf das Wohl der Tiere geachtet wird. 🐾✨

Using head out to purchase our tickets made entering the zoo super easy! There was a line to purchase tickets and we were able to walk up to the ticket booth scan and enter. Singapore zoo was an amazing day out and walking around the grounds was an amazing experience. Well worth going to see and would definitely recommend as an activity to do while in Singapore

Le site est vaste et bien organisé. Il y a un tram gratuit pour passer d'une zone à l'autre mais ça peut aussi se faire à pied. Les animaux sont bien traités et ne sont pas dans des petites cages exigus avec un plancher de béton comme on en voit. On voit bien que la priorité est donnée aux animaux. Ce fut une belle journée et un bon rapport qualité-prix.

Walk alongside kangaroos in Australasia, meet orangutans and stroll through a biodome where butterflies, lemurs, and sloths roam freely.

It was simply breath taking. Best zoo ever. Convenient and safe. There was bathrooms in each sections , restaurants and boutiques. I felt safe.

Getting started

Enter Singapore Zoo with your ticket and hop on the complimentary tram for easy travel across the park. The recorded commentary shares fun animal facts and stories as you ride between zones.

What to expect

11 zones to explore: Wander through Wild Africa, Australasia, Fragile Forest, the Great Rift Valley of Ethiopia, Primate Kingdom, Treetops Trail, Reptile Kingdom, KidzWorld, RepTopia, Tortoise Shell-ter, and Orangutan Island & Boardwalk.

4,200+ animals, 300+ species: Meet lions, orangutans, kangaroos, tortoises, reptiles, and many more.

Rainforest setting: Discover the zoo’s unique open habitats that immerse you in a lush tropical environment.

Tram ride included: Save energy with a complimentary tram ride that connects key exhibits, complete with commentary.

Upgrades

Mandai Destination Pass: Choose a 4-Park or 5-Park pass and save up to 50% on entry to Night Safari, Bird Paradise, River Wonders, and Rainforest Wild Asia.

What to bring

Light clothes, comfy shoes, sunscreen, cap, mosquito repellent, and a poncho or umbrella.

Bring a reusable water bottle – refill stations are available.

Arrive early on weekdays or visit in the late afternoon.

Arrive 10–15 mins early: Seats fill up fast, especially for Splash Safari. Grab a good spot without the rush.

What's not allowed

There are prohibited areas in the zoo. Do not venture into these zones for your own safety.

Do not feed or tease the animals living in the zoo.

Stay seated the whole duration of the tram ride.

Feel free to take photos for personal use. Flash photography is not allowed.

Smoking is not allowed inside the zoo. You will find a designated smoking point outside the entrance.

Pets and plants are not allowed inside.

Skate scooters, inline skates, rollerblades, tricycles and pull trolleys are not permitted inside.

Turn off flash photography for animals’ comfort.

Accessibility

Ticketing machines (TM), nursing & diaper changing rooms, lost and found, free wifi, stoller, wheelchair access, lockers, prayer rooms, rain gears, first-aid stations, luggage storage are available at the venue.
