This is our 2nd visit to Singapore Zoo last was in 2014 and it's more amazing them before, grounds are so well managed, zoo is easy to get around and anaimals habitats replicate the conditions of there outside environments. Highly recommended

Visit Singapore Zoo, home to elephants, lions, orangutans, and more. Go around the park on a tram while listening to animal stories via onboard commentary and visit 11 zones that mirror natural habitats.

Walk alongside kangaroos in Australasia, meet orangutans and stroll through a biodome where butterflies, lemurs, and sloths roam freely.

With elevated platforms, underwater galleries, and glass observatories, the Singapore Zoo has excellent vantage points to enjoy watching the animals frolic about.

Well it was definitely much much cheaper compared to every other plat form. It was easy to purchase the tickets, and easy to access. That made it all a whole lot more enjoyable.

Step into the world’s first rainforest zoo and explore 11 themed zones, home to over 4,200 animals in open, naturalistic habitats. A tram ride with commentary makes it easy to discover the highlights.

Getting started

Enter Singapore Zoo with your ticket and hop on the complimentary tram for easy travel across the park. The recorded commentary shares fun animal facts and stories as you ride between zones.

What to expect

11 zones to explore: Wander through Wild Africa, Australasia, Fragile Forest, the Great Rift Valley of Ethiopia, Primate Kingdom, Treetops Trail, Reptile Kingdom, KidzWorld, RepTopia, Tortoise Shell-ter, and Orangutan Island & Boardwalk.

4,200+ animals, 300+ species: Meet lions, orangutans, kangaroos, tortoises, reptiles, and many more.

Rainforest setting: Discover the zoo’s unique open habitats that immerse you in a lush tropical environment.

Tram ride included: Save energy with a complimentary tram ride that connects key exhibits, complete with commentary.

Upgrades

Mandai Destination Pass: Choose a 4-Park or 6-Park pass and save up to 50% on entry to Night Safari, Bird Paradise, River Wonders, and Rainforest Wild ASIA.

Extra perks include tram rides, Mandai Shuttle access, a carousel ride for kids, plus a complimentary plush keyring and retail voucher (worth up to S$20).

Singapore Zoo upgrade: Opt for a ticket with a complimentary tram ride and a $5 Mandai F&B voucher for added convenience during your visit.

Important note

Booking your preferred entry date for the Singapore Zoo admission ticket is mandatory. Please follow the instructions on the booking voucher to reserve your preferred date.

What to bring

Light clothes, comfy shoes, sunscreen, cap, mosquito repellent, and a poncho or umbrella.

Bring a reusable water bottle – refill stations are available.

Arrive early on weekdays or visit in the late afternoon.

Arrive 10–15 mins early: Seats fill up fast, especially for Splash Safari. Grab a good spot without the rush.

What's not allowed

There are prohibited areas in the zoo. Do not venture into these zones for your own safety.

Do not feed or tease the animals living in the zoo.

Stay seated the whole duration of the tram ride.

Feel free to take photos for personal use. Flash photography is not allowed.

Smoking is not allowed inside the zoo. You will find a designated smoking point outside the entrance.

Pets and plants are not allowed inside.

Skate scooters, inline skates, rollerblades, tricycles and pull trolleys are not permitted inside.

Turn off flash photography for animals’ comfort.

Accessibility

Ticketing machines (TM), nursing & diaper changing rooms, lost and found, free wifi, stoller, wheelchair access, lockers, prayer rooms, rain gears, first-aid stations, luggage storage are available at the venue.
