Great experience; highly recommend going to the fighter jet full motion g-force simulators inside the hangar deck of the USS Intrepid. Also, very nice access to the concorde, you can walk right below it and go inside if you book a tour at the box office.

It was alright and exciting to see. All in all we all thought. It was very exciting to see an experience all the different planes and the submarine that. But we must admit it stupid you take all the photos that people doesn't buy.

Nos gustó mucho el museo , nunca me imagin poder estar en un porta aviones , está muy bien conservado y es muy grande . Estuvimos unas 4h visitando . El submarino también nos encantó

Fantastic🙂 Amazing experience exploring the ship from inside going around, knowing how the battleship work, going inside the battle aircafts and helicopters, crew rooms main cabin, and knowing about history in real.

This was a great visit! My son and I spent 4 hours going through the exhibits, touring the USS Growler, and of course the Intrepid and all her planes. We will definitely by coming back! I highly recommend this for everyone!

What's not allowed

Keep in mind that selfie sticks, tripods, and professional photography equipment are not allowed on this experience. Pack wisely!

Safety is a priority so access to the Growler is restricted for guests under the height of 1m (3.28ft).

Strollers, large bags, and backpacks are not permitted on the Growler.

Accessibility

This experience is mostly wheelchair and pram/stroller accessible. However, the submarine, gun tubs, anchor chain room, captain's bridge.

Trigger warning: Areas inside the Growler are narrow and may not be suitable for visitors with claustrophobia.

Your guide dogs are welcome at the venue.

Additional Information

Facilities: Restrooms and free Wi-Fi.

Children must be accompanied by an adult on the Growler.

The Space Shuttle Pavilion is closed until March 25 for the installation of a new exhibit, When We Went to the Moon. This exhibit opens March 25 and runs until September 2.
