Miguel, el guia, sabe transmitir de tal forma su amor por la historia y el arte que tanto él como todo el grupo hemos perdido la noción del tiempo. Ha sido una visita tan agradable que las casi tres horas de duración de la misma nos han parecido escasos minutos. ¡Enhorabuena!

Sehr interessante, lehrreiche und kurzweilige Führung. Wir wissen nun Vieles über Cordoba und insbesondere die Moschee-Kathedrale. Unser Guide sprach sehr gut verständlich, langsam genug, so dass man ihm gut folgen konnte und rhetorisch so gut aufgebaut, dass es eine Freude war, ihm zuzuhören. Wir haben sehr viel von der Führung mitgenommen und uns merken können. Vielen Dank!

The Cordoba Mosque-Cathedral is the world’s third-largest mosque and is considered to be one of the greatest representations of Moorish architecture. The Jewish Quarter is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site close to the Cathedral-Mosque. It houses a synagogue - the center of attraction within the neighborhood.

Jewish Quarter: Besides the central synagogue, the Jewish Quarter features the bronze statue of Maimonides, a Jewish philosopher and astronomer who was born in Cordoba. You'll also go to the El Zoco, an Arabic Market where artisans sell their handmade crafts.

Strict dress code: Please note that the shoulders must be covered all the time as the mosque-cathedral is a religious space and shorts and tank tops are not allowed.

Your safety comes first. So, guests with mobility issues, vertigo, anemia, dizzy spells, claustrophobia, cardiac issues, breathing issues, children below 7 years, and pregnant women are restricted from accessing the bell tower as it requires climbing a narrow staircase with relatively tall steps.
