Continue your trek to the historic 14th-century path. It boasts 414 steps that not only provide an amazing view of the Gulf of Naples but also of the gardens surrounding the monastery. Next up is the bustling and colorful district of Spanish Quarters, or Quartieri Spagnoli. It was founded in 1500 as accommodation for Spanish soldiers living in Naples or just passing through.
