From check in until the time we disembarked off the boat the staff made us feel welcome. The boat was clean and the facilities were clean at all times. Captain kept us informed on our schedule and the weather. Lunch was above par & once again served up by staff who love their job. After docking we were greeted again by the crew which was a lovely gesture. Thank you for making a great trip even better.

The Capitain had a personality that made me smile. He warned us it could be rough and it was. A few people were sick. 10/10 Cabin crew were very helpful with all sorts of questions and even help with a phone. 10/10 Trip out in the semi sub was nothing to talk about. Literally saw nothing bubbles from propellers😕 But the glass bottom boat ride was very eye opening and the crew member of that was interesting and answered all our questions. 10/10 Always felt safe. Lunch was okay. Prawns we a bit old but eatable and everything else 👍 Would I go again🤔yes and tell others👍

Loved it. Very well organised team and always smiling staff. Lots of activities for people who love the ocean – glass-bottom boat, submarine, and snorkeling. Snorkeling was the best part for us. We’ve done snorkeling in many countries, but this was next level. The reef was extraordinary with so many beautiful fish. Totally worth the price.

Board a fast catamaran that swiftly transports you to the state‑of‑the‑art pontoon at Moore Reef, located approximately 50 kilometers offshore. Upon arrival, the multi-level pontoon welcomes you with its expansive sundeck and an array of water activities. Dive into guided snorkeling sessions amidst vibrant coral formations, or opt for a glass-bottom boat or semi-submersible tour to observe the underwater wonders without getting wet.

A highlight for many is the giant 30-meter spiral waterslide—the only one of its kind on the reef—providing endless fun for both kids and adults. Additionally, the enclosed ocean pool offers a safe environment for younger guests to enjoy the water.

Throughout your 4-hour stay, engage in interactive marine biology talks and get hands-on with the touch-tank display, deepening your understanding of the reef's diverse inhabitants. When it's time to refuel, a generous buffet lunch awaits, featuring a selection of tropical dishes.

8:45am to 9:45am: Check-in at Reef Fleet Terminal at Sunlover's desk

10:15am: Depart Cairns

4 Hours Reef time

4pm: Depart Fitzroy Island

5:30pm: Arrive at Cairns Marlin Marina

What to bring

Bring along your swimwear, beach towel, sunscreen (SPF 30+), hat, sunglasses, and rash vest.

Accessibility

While this experience is wheelchair and pram/stroller accessible, certain activities are not suitable for wheelchair users.

The semi-submersible tour is subject to weather conditions.

Please note that check-in and collection of boarding passes must be completed between 8:45am to 9:45am at the Sunlovers Cruises desk inside the reef terminal at Cairns Marina.

Passengers failing to check-in by 9:45am may miss the final boarding.
