The crew were amazing with our guide Jesus making it an informative and superbly enjoyable sunset cruise. Local historical knowledge linked with a keen sense of humour and joy made it a memorable trip along a beautiful valley. The captain meanwhile kept a serene passage ensuring a truly relaxing experience.

Did this trip solo and honestly, it was the HIGHLIGHT of my week. Boat was just the right size, not packed, and everyone got a window seat (so rare!). The guide, Nuno, was hilarious and knew soooo much about the river. Lunch was legit the best meal I’ve had in Portugal—fish was fresh and they kept bringing bread. Train ride back was cute but yeah, a bit noisy. Would totally do this again.

What’s not allowed

Large bags, suitcases, and oversized luggage are not allowed on board for safety reasons.

Pets are not permitted, except for registered service animals.

Additional information

The experience operates all year except on December 24 and 25, January 1, and Easter Day.

In case of adverse weather or river conditions, the tour will not take place.

Boats have a covered area for comfort in hot or cold weather.

Return to Pinhão by train may be required for some variants (train ticket not included).
